Barbacoda — Restaurant in Portoferraio

They recommended me to not include the filet on the t-bone steak. I was lured completely. From what i learned, always include the filet. They said its better without it. What they do is that they keep it themself for profit and to include it on other dishes.

First time i was lured on the island. It sucks. We paid around €130 for the "steak" with 2 glass of wine. It was maximum 500 grams of meat. We were still hungry when we left, should not be possible when you pay that much for food.

What a disappointment.

Edit; i dont think you don't understand what i am saying. This is not about being afraid of adding 300 g more meat. I paid for it, then give me it! If you remove 300 g of meat, then you should...

What an outstanding experience!

Fo me last night it was a “to go dinner”.. It was packed awesomely! Everything was very well cooked and placed inside the carry-box.

The staff was superb, welcoming, professional and explained all meat’s characteristics to help the choice..

The meat was beyond perfection!

Looking forward to dine-in next time!

And sure it was a dine-in few days later.

Last time that I’ve eaten an hotdog as good as this one, it was all the way back a decade ago in the mighty United States of America!!

The taste was superb! Food quality was over the top!

Mark my words: it will surely be a next time very soon !!

Sinceramente avevo probabilmente delle aspettative troppo alte e secondo me , non le hanno rispettate ma , soprattutto per alcuni dettagli , non mi hanno soddisfatto appieno tipo la sistemazione nel fondo del ristorante , in una zona che definirei l'area giochi dei bambini , e che purtroppo ieri sera erano abbastanza rumorosi e soprattutto piangenti , infatti un paio di coppiette si saranno domandate come mai erano state messe lì; anche noi abbiamo due figli ma ormai abbastanza grandi e avremmo cenato più tranquillamente nella prima parte del ristorante , che ho notato stranamente più libera rispetto al fondo....altro aspetto che ho notato un po' negativo è che essendo su una strada buia e trafficata, il ristorante , ben illuminato e segnalato , non ha un parcheggio adeguato alla grandezza del locale e infatti ho dovuto parcheggiare al di là della strada su una vietta attigua e buia e attraversare a piedi la statale ma probabilmente, quello che definirei il problema parcheggio , non è attribuibile a loro .....ristorante carino ma in fondo c'era pochissima circolazione d'aria e il cibo era composto da un menù base più i vari tagli con prezzi al kg , ben visibili nel loro frigo , ma quello che abbiamo scelto e mangiato , consigliati dalla signora che prende le ordinazioni , sinceramente, non ci ha soddisfatti troppo , forse perché un po' troppo grassa e nervosa nella parte sotto, per i nostri gusti , buona invece la battuta di fassona come antipasto , le verdure di contorno e i menù scelti per i ragazzi.....i camerieri che apparecchiavano e sparecchiavamo erano di poche parole e zero sorrisi , quasi infastiditi direi dal dover lavorare , solo la ragazza era molto gentile !!! Conto in linea col tipo di cena fatta ma secondo me', sarebbe tutto dovuto essere molto ma molto meglio visto l'ottima nomea del ristorante.... TUTTO APPENA SUFFICIENTE...mio personalissimo giudizio che spero non...
