Il Capriccio — Restaurant in Pozzuoli

The worst fish I have ever had. We ordered the antipasto di pesce, the octopus was smelly and even the other stuff, mussels and smocked salmon was not so fresh. After that, I don't know why, we asked for some shared main course, the spaghetti with frutti di mare and paccheri with coccio. They served us the whole fish, this time wasn't so bad but overcooked. The white wine "della casa" was very light as flavour. The bill was expensive we were 9 of us and we paid 40€ each. I will never go there anymore and I don't recommend to go there if you want...

we went here yesterday at the last day of our vacation and it was definitely not the best decision. The staff was nice, even they cannot speak well English, but they were trying to help by giving me some more lemons. But the food there was very disappointing. The seafood especially the shrimp and the calamari were not fresh at all, it is the worst seafood out of our stay this time. The fish and Penne were average and nothing special. We ordered sicilian pizza the one with the eggplant. It was nice. The one star is for the service, the rude waiter and the poor variety of non alcoholic drinks. We asked for non cold water finally because my wife had a bad throat but the waiter sarcastically said it's hot weather. They didn't have non cold water by the way and the plate we ate in was broken and when i told him about it he said ok ok wothout apologizing even. Not good experience overall. Go to the bar...
