Locanda Caddeo Pula — Restaurant in Pula

Terrible dining experience at Locanda Caddeo June 28th 2024. We had a reservation for a party of 16 people for dinner. They placed us on the side alley near the parked cars and bathrooms entrance. The menu was very small and mainly aperitivo type of food. Come to find out they ran out of half the items before we sat down. We were told the chicken salad was grilled chicken and flavourful. Quite the contrary as it was boiled chicken with no seasoning(About 5 small slices). Their large pricey platters (from which they are known for) were cold and dry slices of pizza, cold chicken bites, and some pieces of cold cuts. The server seamingly felt terrible on behalf of the kitchen, to the point of hiding in the restaurant and avoiding the table. Very tasty food and quick service. The tower of food was very good, a lot of different kind of pizza, lasagne, cheeses and meats. Even meatballs and chicken. No flavor bombs but the quality is very good.

We ordered lasagne but we received it cold on the inside. When we explained it to the waiter he apoligised and brought a new piece that was very tasty and warm. We didn't receive the same piece but a new piece of lasagne.

Food is cheap but the drinks are a bit expensive. But we paid less then 20 euro per person for a full dinner.

Non è una recensione semplice da fare. Anzi, devo dire che per me è stata la più complicata, perché:

Il posto è carino, il cibo è davvero buono, soprattutto le loro patatine, gli aperitivi sono fatti bene ed il personale è gentile. Per tutto questo 5 stelle.

Ma... devo levarne due, arrivando quindi a darne 3, perché: la pubblicità sulla tovaglietta di carta, dove dice che se ti registri ricevi subito un omaggio dallo staff, non è veritiero. Attendi la mail che arriva nello spam, e dice che ricevi l omaggio solo al tuo prossimo aperitivo, in realtà, e non subìto come dice la pubblicità. Inoltre il locale apre alle 18 ed hai solo tempo fino alle 18,30 per riceverlo, come dice la mail. Un altro omaggio invece sono le loro patatine ( eravamo due e quindi due iscrizioni... per questo lo so) . La porzione di patatine in realtà non è intera, ma mezza. Lo dico con certezza perché gia le avevamo acquistate la volta prima e sapevamo quanto era una intera...ma non solo, non è arrivata nemmeno fresca come quelle che paghi, erano chiaramente fatte prima, non calde e quindi un leggermente posse. Altra nota dolente ma non ultima... non solo non ricevi assolutamente nulla con la consumazione ( come tutti i locali: delle patatine, noccioline, olive masticate già da qualcuno....) nulla di nulla...se vuoi accompagnare il tuo drink devi per forza acquistate cibo. E voi direte...beh? Beh, il fatto è che paghi la tassa sulla consumazione, chiamata " il coperto" , in base a quanto spendi, del 10%. Quinsi se andate in 4, e spendete 100 euro, sono 10 euro di tassa. Ed è una cosa che onestamente incide molto. O comunque a...
