I live in Vigo Di Fassa every winter. My wife and I went to San Cassiano for the first time as our son is an Alpine athlete based and training in Alta Badia for the FIS competitions with a local ski academy. We spent 3 nights in San Cassiano and went 2 nights to Ristorante La Vedla. Mike, Lorenzo, Maria, Mammalia and the team treated us as if we were part of the community. In both occasions we had no reservation however they made the effort to accommodate us. The menu is plentiful at prices that are very affordable considering the location. The food is deliciously fresh and portions to satisfy all requirements. As a result my sons ski team will be visiting once a week and I'll be taking the time to drive once a week to La Vedla to have a meal. No tricks here. To Mike, Lorenzo, Maria, Mamma and the staff grazie mille and see you next week. ...

So in short, service, especially from the female (manager?) could have been way...
Read moreWe are couple and La Vedla is our preferable place for having a drink (or two, maybe three) after skiing. One guy remembered our preferred drinks after we came back after one month. Unbelievable. And he kept the documents I forgot there last time and delivered them the moment we came. We will definitely come back again as...
