Your trip to Puglia is not complete without visiting Angelo! We had a most wonderful experience and would definitely repeat next time we come here. Everything from the moment you step in is planned to make the dinner an unforgettable journey combining elegance, modernity and simplicity… our servers were all articulate refined and knowledgeable, each bringing lifetime experiences with worldly outlooks. Our sommelier recommended the most delicious wines of the region by the glass. We tried the four course tasting menu which ended up to be more than sufficient. The eggplant was a pure work of art, flavors bursting with every bite. The crepe is the product of the chef’s nostalgic past of the 70’s and 80’s when the dish was served in all happy occasions. The veal was delicious and creative culminating the cooking at the table when the hot sauce was poured over it.. we ended the dinner with the chef paying us and the other guests a visit thanking all for joining and enjoying his work of love… he is a great man with a sincere humility representing every artist who loves what they do and lives for...
Read moreHaving lived in Southern Italy for over 8 years now, it’s fair to say that I’ve learned a thing or two about the flavours of the south. The entire classic menu we tried at this incredible restaurant reminded me of everything I’ve grown to love about eating with the people of Basilicata and Puglia. Those familiar flavours of olives, tomatoes, bread, fish and so much more are elevated to a totally different level by a chef who is so passionate, welcoming and unbelievably talented. Let’s not forget to mention his incredibly kind and knowledgeable wife and her front of house team.
If you’re looking for the real Italy taken to new heights then this is an experience and a treat that you simply can’t miss.
We’ll DEFINITELY be back sometime to try Angelo’s other, more modern...

We chose the full 13 course menu and received both an appetiser welcome as well as a desert farewell on top. The appetiser was amazing, but we felt like the deserts were unnecessary, as we already were pretty full and really enjoyed the main deserts that were part of the tasting menu. The staff was top notch, explaining very carefully and thoroughly how each dish came together and how local traditions influenced each plate. We won’t say too much else other than check this place out as we don’t want to spoil the happiness each...
