La Farmacia Food & Drink — Restaurant in Putignano

Small restaurant in the middle of old town of Putignano. We ordered food which was not on the menu for the day(lunch offer), I asked how much was the octopus salad and I was told 8 euro, however I was charged 13 euro in the end. Not a big deal but feels annoying to be cheated just because you are foreign. The lasagna was delicious, our kids loved it. Came because there are several gluten free items on the menu, but the lasagna was microwaved and served in the package like something you would eat on an airplane. Sandwiches are okay but nothing extraordinary. Probably a great place if you are only looking for aperitivo and not in need of gluten free options. Un capolavoro. Un modello eccezionale di come dovrebbero essere la maggioranza dei ristoranti, un menù essenziale e squisito. Un'alta attenzione al seguire le proposte stagionali, con alta valorizzazione dei prodotti locali ma senza fossilizzarsi e sperimentando. L'idea di un fuori menù sempre diverso ti spinge a tornare e ritornare più volte, la qualità del cibo poi è altissima. Ambiente da 10 altro che 5 stelle, dentro si respira aria di casa, fuori appare sempre incredibile come un ristorante piccolo abbia fatto diventare una via da normale e graziosa a tappa fondamentale del centro storico. Il personale è competente, gentile e sempre disponibile, oltre che simpatico e cordiale. Il piccolissimo unico minuscolo consiglio di cuore che darei è quello di portare un po' di pane in più per scarpettare come si deve ogni pietanza.
