Sabor — Restaurant in Ragusa

Called in for a meal with the family for our last night on the beautiful island of Sicilia. We had a warm welcome from the lady behind the bar who sat us down quickly. She then took our order and after a while we were presented with some fabulous food. I ordered a pizza 🍕 with several toppings and my wife had the Calzone. These were delicious 😋 indeed and after 4 weeks in Italy 🇮🇹, this was my favourite pizza! My father in law absolutely loved his fillet steak and my brother & sister in law loved their ‘tomahawk’ steak 🥩. My niece had a pizza margarita and my nephew had a pizza 🍕 which was basically 2 in 1 which I have never seen before.. Half went home for the next day 😂. I got 4 days of explosive diarrhea from salmon that didn't really taste well. Got my pizza wrong the first time, might have been swapped with another table's. Drinks are kept outside in uncontrolled storage, where temperatures fluctuate based on weather. My mandarino drink tasted weird, almost expired, same for my friend's. Sadly we couldn't confirm the expiration date as the waiter took the bottle caps after opening the bottles. I'm genuinely sorry because the place looks good. I'm also sorry because I went here because a band was playing at dinnertime, but the glass was making some crazy harmonics and was basically deafening. Not a great place for high volume music, should have lowered the volume. Very bad...

Esperienza pessima! Partendo dal presupposto che dalla prenotazione abbiamo aspettato circa 40 min. arrivati al tavolo mancavano le sedie. Una volta seduti e ordinato le patatine, alla richiesta di piatti individuali, rispondono con "non ne abbiamo". Decidiamo di prendere un antipasto di calamari, purtroppo probabilmente fritti con il Motul 10W40. Una volta arrivate le pizze mi sorge un dubbio: noto che le pizze sono un cerchio perfetto. Causalità? No, tutte le pizze al nostro tavolo erano perfettamente tonde. Ovviamente è impossibile che il pizzaiolo abbia creato le pizze col goniometro. Conclusione? Pizze surgelate. Ora, non se tutto è successo perché hanno finito i panetti pizza, ma ciò non giustifica la cosa. Ennesima beffa è stata la burrata acida e granulosa. Sono venuto per provare la pizza "pizzoli", "non ce l'abbiamo". Vorrei capire cosa ci sia presente in questo locale oltre alla pizza surgelata, sperando comunque di non pagare il cerotto lasciatoci dalla cameriera. Prezzo è coerente con quanto ordinato.
