Toshi — Restaurant in Ragusa

Attention Tourists. This place is probably worth skipping. Not a horrible place, but I used to live in the city of Ragusa 8 years ago and this was the best sushi ever. I came back after 6 years and they relocated to Marina di Ragusa. Their prices being more expensive than before but the quality of food is super low now!

They barely offer local fish on their menu, rice was bland and the rolls were tiny for 16 euros a roll.

Salmon was everywhere and tuna was unavailable. Salmon is NOT from this area of the world and should be only one item on the menu maximum. I have had the pleasure to eat very good sushi around the world in my life, and this is not it.

My point is, don't expect amazing sushi with local fish and expect to pay a lot for nothing. Better support another restaurant with a raw fish selection that is...

Excellent restaurant. The fish is very fresh and the salmon is not fat. The different options we had were very tasteful and different from what we have at home. Not too much mayo which I really appreciated. Our waitress was very nice and asked several times if everything was ok. We didn’t wait between our dishes which was nice. I recommend making a reservation during week end since the restaurant is well known. The chef asked us if we liked the food when we were leaving and we had a little chat with him. Really...

It’s a really nice place. Food really good… the problem time between dishes…. There is no way you wait more than 30 min between a starter and the main dish… really disappointed because it is not a cheap restaurant plus it isn’t so big, which means they should be faster…..You go there wanting a nice sushi experience and you leave the place...
