Chapeau Restaurant Wine Bar — Restaurant in Reggio Calabria

I spent a weekend in Reggio Calabria and I tried excellent restaurants, but this is not one of those. I wanted to have something to eat quickly before heading back home, unfortunately I found this place. Dirty floor and tables where you could find small pieces of croissant and brioches from the morning breakfast. Obviously even the glasses where dirty (and I'm not talking about water stains). My girlfriend and I ordered one Antipasto, one Caprese and one anchovies's patty, the last one was 4 days old maybe even the antipasto wasn't fresh. However I stop here, cause the list of things that I should mention it's almost infinite. Wonderful service , food , we had the 3 course menu from the sea , excelent took a while becuse they prepred for us, We also enjoyed the icecream they made, fantastic:) We were sited outside were the icecrem shop is and they brought the food to us , nice ocean view nd family atmosphere Excellent place to eat , good prices . The ower is there trying her best even to communicate with us since we are not italians . I recomended 100 % percent

Avoid this place unless you are getting a bottle of wine. We decided to try this place for dinner last night. This place was bad from food to drinks. Starting out with a bad amaretto drink. Then they served us bread that smelled disgusting and tasted like it had been overcooked in old/bad oil. Our antipasta meat and cheeses were ok. Then for our main courses, not one of the three of us ate our food. Super salty, bad fish, and seemed like they defrosted some frozen fish since it took 30 min for my salmon to cook.
