Cremeria Sottozero — Restaurant in Reggio Calabria

Based on my experience they speak 0 English, but I would still recommend for tourists (even vegans), because you can just use your pretty finger to point, and they have a LOT of ice cream flavors and other sweets.

The quality and taste was excellent the two times I tried. 👌 For vegans I especially recommend the chocolate and the lemon pistachio ice cream, but they have other vegan flavors too. Also you can ask for a paper cup if you're worried about the cone ingredients.

It's a nice and uncomplicated place: you walk in, and two minutes later you walk out with your nice dessert, and you can sit down on the beach front to eat it - there are even some shaded spots...

Che Buonoooooo! Everytime we visit Reggio we have gelati at sottozero. It is by far the best in Italy. The service is impeccable and the cakes and gelati are what dreams are made of. This visit I wanted to show my brother and sister inlaw just exactly why I love this place this so much. We had the cafe crema and it did not disappoint. The staff were so lovely making it a most memorable experience. We make the trip to Reggio once a year from Australia, and our summer holiday would not be complete without visiting Sottozero,...

Be warned: this is not a real restaurant, but an ice cream shop that cannot serve real food. Also, this place secretly uses different prices on the receipt than the prices mentioned on the menu. Pay attention when paying, people! They pretend to be friendly, but in the meantime they add a few cents here and there to the receipt. You have been warned!
