Overall: A canteen style restaurant with a wide selection of home-cooked food. Big portions, good quality, reasonable price. Food: Lots of options, served in steam trays and then re-heated. Lasagna, many types of pasta, kebabs, all the vegetables. I had Lasagne and it was really good. Their 'speciality' is the fresh rotisserie chicken with potato wedges - people were queueing up for it. Veggie friendly: Yes, but it might just be a big plate of vegetables! Price: I got an A5 slab of lasagne and a plate heaped with beans and spinach with a bottle of water for 9EUR. Portions are very good and the 'chicken 'n' chips' option looks huge! Service: Order at the counter. No table service. They lady was very kind about my bad Italian! But with a long queue and only 2 people working there, some tables were dirty. Atmosphere: Canteen. There are chairs and tables to eat in or you can take away, but this is not fine dining. Tavola calda. Italiano here. Involtini di pesce spada (swordfish) is very good & anything swordfish they have is very good as is their roast chicken. Lots of side dishes to choose from. Take out for me, lately with the heat I go once a week. There are slightly cheaper places in Reggio but Glam don't skimp on the portions and good tasting. Servers at the counter are quick and polite. Exactly what I would like to find when I want a quick holiday lunch. Many dishes, but not too much. Main courses, 10 side dishes, fish, chicken and much more. Price: less then 10 euro per person, but you can eat with 6 euro. You can to take away or stay inside, but sometimes you have to wait, it's full of people.
