Antica Cafeteria — Restaurant in Rimini

At the beautiful Piazza Tre Martiri, we purposefully decided to go for this great antique bar ( Antica Caffetteria ). Situated right on the square (next to Torre del Orologio) on the beautiful terrace, we taste great wines, delicious Italian beer, spritz and even better tramezzino ( abundant and very good appetizers ). Rimini was sunny and in my walk decided to stop in this cafeteria and watch the world go by, order a glass of Prosecco and within an unexpected aperitivo, very generous, a little sandwich, pizza, chips and a couple others. Essendo di Rimini mi è capitato spesso di venire in questo bar, nel complesso sono sempre stato trattato con rispetto, tuttavia oggi siamo stati trattati con una discreta maleducazione dalla signora al bancone, a cui abbiamo semplicemente chiesto se potevamo ordinare 2 caffè e se c’era posto a sedersi fuori e ci siamo visti rispondere con un secco “no” seguito da un panegirico evitabile sulla differenza dei due servizi, un concetto che poteva essere espresso in maniera più breve con modi decisamente più gentili e uno sguardo molto meno severo, in quanto la prima regola di un servizio aperto al pubblico dovrebbe essere la cordialità verso il cliente che almeno nei nostri confronti non è stata espressa. Spero che sia soltanto un episodio isolato, dato che un caffè normale già costa 2.20€ con tanto di tono sostanzialmente acido. È inutile avere vistose decorazioni e comfort per poi trattare i clienti con supponenza e sospetto che a quacheduno di età maggiore non sarebbe stato riservato lo stesso modo decisamente poco cordiale e trasmesso il medesimo disagio.
