Augusta Cucina e Cicchetto — Restaurant in Rimini

We had an excellent dinner at Augusta in Rimini, where we chose the “i cicchetti” tasting menu for two. The menu included twelve small plates served in four rounds, each one carefully prepared and full of character.

The mussels in arrabbiata sauce were particularly memorable, cooked just right with a bold, well-balanced flavor. The octopus was equally impressive, tender and perfectly seasoned, showing great attention to detail in both texture and taste.

The service was professional and attentive throughout the evening. Staff were welcoming and courteous, maintaining a relaxed yet precise rhythm from start to finish.

The garden area provided a peaceful and comfortable setting for the meal. It added to the overall experience without distracting from the food.

We paid €128 for two people, which included the tasting menu, natural water, coffee, and a glass of white wine. For the level of quality and care, the price felt entirely justified.

It was an immense pleasure to visit this restaurant and we really enjoyed our romantic birthday dinner celebration. I really appreciate all the vegan options they have on the menu and the long wine list. The service was absolutely wonderful throughout from the communication beforehand over e-mail and phone they were always very friendly, cordial and super helpful regarding my special requests.
