One night in Rimini

After a long workday and an even longer journey, I found myself at Baracuda in Rimini.

The salty sea breeze and the gentle sound of the waves outside—yes, even in the middle of March—on one side, and the cozy glow of the restaurant on the other, created the perfect contrast. Instantly, the exhaustion of the day melted away.

Unlike many places that shut down in the off-season, Baracuda stays open all year.

The new owners (since one year)—he in the kitchen, she in the service—put their heart and soul into making this place a home for locals and a hidden gem for travelers. It’s not just about keeping the doors open; it’s about passion, personality, and a love for real Italian hospitality.

Then “drum roll“ came the

-Paccheri cacio e pepe con Mazara prawns and lemon zest-

and with the first bite? !!!Boom!!!. An explosion of flavors, a Dolby Surround Sound of Taste!

A Culinary orgasm!!!

Perfectly al dente Paccheri, coated in a creamy Pecorino sauce, the sweetness of the prawns harmonizing with the citrusy kick of lemon zest—simple, refined, unforgettable. And yes, this happened outside the high season!

The service? Warm, friendly, attentive—genuinely welcoming. You can tell this place isn’t just about catering to the summer crowd; it’s about creating something special year-round.

I’ve known Rimini for years—for its beaches, its nightlife, its history. But now, it’s also the city where I had one of the best pasta dishes of my life. Under its new young owner, Baracuda has been thriving for the past year, and it’s clear why.

A place worth experiencing. A place you’ll want to come back to.

As a former chef and hospitality expert, I can wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Rimini. You won’t be disappointed!

Only the best and keep up the good work with passion and dedication!

See you in...

We had the pleasure of dining at Barracuda Restaurant during our stay in Rimini, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff are not only incredibly friendly, but also attentive and professional, making us feel right at home.

The food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re a seafood lover or prefer classic Italian dishes, there’s something on the menu for everyone – and at very affordable prices! You really get great value for your money here.

What also impressed us was the speed of service – we never had to wait long, yet everything tasted fresh and perfectly prepared. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of efficiency, quality, and friendliness all in one place.

If you’re visiting Rimini and looking for a place with amazing food, fair prices, and a warm atmosphere, do yourself a favor and visit Barracuda Restaurant. Highly recommended – we’ll...

Tutto bene direte no?

Very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I’d have to say that their pasta (paccheri)with cacio e pepe is the best that I’ve ever had. The flavors were subtle and not overwhelming like most places I’ve had it. I order this dish whenever a restaurant serves it because it is one of my favorites. Then in the evening we ordered a pizza for take-away and that was very good too. Very light dough, which was very digestible (for those who may have issues with the digestibility of pizzas), highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. Mind you, our experience was very good overall but some people may find issues with various things.
