Gelateria La Romana dal 1947 — Restaurant in Rimini

This has to be the best gelato shop in Rimini! I didn't plan to visit this place but then I was walking nearby I opened Google Maps and saw this gelato shop with such a high score I just had to make a slight detour to visit it. There were quite a number of people eating outside the shop, even at the small little park near the shop. I walked into the shop and it was quite crowded, but it didn't take long before one of the female staff attended to me. The gelato is stored in the traditonal gelato chiller, so they are not openly displayed and I had no idea what was in store. The female staff could speak pretty good English and she did explain some of the flavours to me. I did ask for some recommendations and she did recommend quite a bit, and she also offered to let me sample so that I could choose the flavours I liked. I ended up choosing the 2 flavours of the month and I have to say they are real good! Really enjoyed the gelato here and the prices are so reasonable. Highly recommended if you happen to be in Rimini! They seem to have gelato cakes and also brioche gelato as well but my stomach is too...

one of the best gelato I’ve ever tasted. it’s unbelievably creamy and the flavour range is exactly up my alley. especially the crema 1947, it’s the best creamy gelato flavour i have ever had. pure cream with a hint of zabaione and citrus zest, absolutely unbelievable. i’m also amazed by the cheesecake, and the dark chocolate had a rich cocoa flavour. i am so happy that you can get a chocolate wafer cone, and fill the bottom of your cone with indulgent melted chocolate or caramel! it is simply divine. i find no flaws with this gelato shop except that the pistachio could be slightly smoother and saltier. but i forgive them because 99% of the rest are a 10/10. additionally the staff are generous...

Gelato molto buono anche se ultimamente il prezzo si è alzato e le porzioni rimpicciolite. Ma in particolare volevo raccontare un'esperienza che mi è capitato di recente. Il personale è sempre molto gentile e alla mano ma non tutti. In questo caso la ragazza che mi ha preparato il cono già da subito mi guarda con aria di sufficienza e stanchezza ma non ci faccio molto caso. Dopo i primi momenti di silenzio (di solito ti chiedono loro come vuoi il cono) comincio a dire che volevo il cioccolato e lei come se non mi avesse sentito mi richiede cosa volessi. Ripeto la richiesta e le dico poi i gusti. Tuttavia prima che lei mettese qualsiasi gusto sopra il cono cambio idea avendo visto un altro gusto che mi piaceva e le dico di mettere quello al posto del gusto X. Lei mi riguarda molto male e mi annuisce. Nonostante ciò mi mette comunque il gusto x invece del nuovo gusto che avevo chiesto! Io ormai non potevo farle togliere il gusto e quindi prendo e ringrazio. Gli sbagli capitano a tutti ma è l'atteggiamento quello che conta. Mi sono sentita come se non dovessi essere lì tutto il tempo. Ripeto il gelato molto buono nonostante prezzo e dimensioni ma il personale a volte è un po passivo aggressivo nonostante il 90% delle volte sia molto...
