Ristorante Pizzeria Gli Angeli — Restaurant in Rimini

We've eaten here three times now, and frankly it is the last time. The food quality is terrible. How can you undercook pasta in Italy?? What's the point of breading and deep frying prawns with shells on them?? The sauces are so lacking flavor they're not really worth mentioning. There are much better places to eat in this area. The staff are really friendly, though!

I live in Ticino, so I'm aware of Italian cuisine and "al dente" pasta. Yours was uncooked pasta 🤷‍♂️

Today the 2 waitresses did not take my order for a very long time and when I said after 20 minutes that I would order, they were offended. When I ate the salad, I would have ordered a cookie, but after another 20 minutes of waiting, I gave up and instead went to the counter to pay. Ristorante sulla spiaggia. E già questo è un vantaggio oltre a portare a una ovvia declinazione della cucina. La struttura è quella di un bar da spiaggia che si insinua tra le file di cabine, ma con una mise en place più ricercata. La scelta di piatti è ampia e in più ogni giorno si aggiungono due piatti (un primo e un secondo) a scelta del cuoco. Il pesce è freschissimo e cucinato alla perfezione. Ottimi i primi, preparati con cura, attenzione e maestria, alcuni originali (sempre gustosissimi) nella composizione che stuzzicano il palato e accendono la fantasia. Anche i secondi sono da provare, sempre pieni di gusto di mare. È anche possibile scegliere nel reparto pizze svariate soluzioni, che non posso giudicare poiché abbiamo preferito sempre gustare primi o secondi piatti; ma se la preparazione ricalca (e come potrebbe essere diversamente dal momento che pizzaiolo e forno sono i medesimi) quella della "Fornarina", allora devono essere molto buone. Il personale gentilissimo e sempre ultradisponibile.
