Tiki Taka — Restaurant in Rimini

We wanted to have a nice closing evening on our last night before leaving Rimini. We went to other Restaurants and everything was perfect. The Food was really good. On this ocation we went to the Tikii Taka Restaurant . We ordered the grilled Fisch mixed plate for 20 euros for 2 Persons. We told the service we wanted only 1 plate for both of us. Our kids ordered a Pizza each. It took 45 minutes to get a table. (which was ok because the place was full at the moment) The 2 Pizzas were served fast and they tasted ok. .not outstanding, but for the price ok. The problem started when we had to wait for the grilled seafood fish plate, the Pizzas were getting cold, so we told the kids to start eating. After a while the service brought us the grilled seafood plate. The plate was a plastic plate and it was cold at the touch. The plate was cold! Normally it should come hot or warm! The seafood plate looked good but after tasting it …

We both tried the two different fisch first….

The fish was oily It was not fresh, it tasted old The shrimps were coated in an oily breading and tasted like sand and it had no seasonings, not even salt 4.The scallops tasted like nothing , - the Parmesan breading tasted like Sand again. There were also some squid skewers this were the only ones that tasted ok, well I only tried 1 piece of the skewer before not touching the plate again

We were waiting for the service to come, so we could tell them that we were not satisfied with the food.. The Service was so bad that they didn’t notice us for a long time , I had to stand up and call the service by myself.

To make this recession short…

They didn’t accept our complaints nor tried to listen to what we were telling them .I have never experienced such a behavior. The customer is in his right!!! That’s something they have never heard!. They told us that they wouldn’t take the Grilled Plate from the Bill. I told him that we wanted the bill , that we didn’t want to complain anymore, and that we wanted to leave . I just wanted to leave , I had enough, What a pleasant 😟 stay at that place!

But the Problem continued..

Next they tried to bill us 2 times the Grilled Seafood Plate We told the waiter that we only wanted 1 not 2 !!

Luckily they took one Grilled Seafood plate from the Bill.

After my wife left the table, she even heard the waiter mumbling in a silent matter that “we would only go to cheap restaurants!!! this is unacceptable.!

Conclusion:

Bad Service, 2. If you want to eat fish go to another place. 3. pizzas are ok. Customer Service when you have a complain...

Tiki Taka rules, always busy, but it doesn't stop you from eating their delicious food. First time we took take away bigger size (for two) Romain pizza - two different types, also we took Margherita and Marinara. We got smarter and we booked a table for next time. We got main courses and dessert. The mood is perfect, we were there with two children and they loved it also. We will got shortly again there as we booked table. The Big Boss is the King you feel his passion and love for the business and he works...

Wäre das Ambiente nicht so gut. Hätte es 2 Sterne gegeben.

Da es in Rimini eines der bestbewertesten Restaurants ist, haben wir uns entschieden den Geburtstag unserer Freundin hier zu feiern. Wir hatten schon im Vorhinein angerufen, reserviert und erwähnt, dass es der Geburtstag einer Freundin ist. Man hat uns versichert, dass das kein Problem sei. Keiner wusste etwas damit anzufangen, als wir die Kerzen abgegeben haben. Bestellen konnten wir erst nachdem wir darauf bestanden hatten. Wir waren zu 5. Eine aus unserer Runde hatte Pizza bestellt. Ihr Essen kam schnell. Doch sie musste dies allein geniessen. Denn wir anderen haben sicherlich noch 40‘ gewartet. Als wir das Servicepersonal darauf ansprachen, hat man uns schnippisch gesagt, dass es nicht sein könne, dass wir schon so lange warteten. Der Chef hat dann den jungen Servicemitarbeiter vor versammelter Mannschaft klein gemacht. Dieser war jedoch bemüht und zu beschwichtigen. Das weitere Essen kam ebenfalls gestaffelt. Extra Wünsche wurden nicht berücksichtigt. Als wir dann fertig waren kam die Pizza, welche ganz am Angang als erstes schon kam, erneut.

Erneut mussten wir darauf hinweisen, dass es der Geburtstag ist und wir das Dessert gerne mit den Kerzen hätten. Dies hat dann einigermassen geklappt und sie haben „happy Birthday“ laufen lassen.

Naja. Ambiente sehr schön. Aber alles andere nicht...
