Anvedi Colli Portuensi — Restaurant in Rome

If you want to eat like a real roman local , you come here! It is outside of the center, in a very nice area. The restaurant has a nice outdoor section (nice and heated as well) with the restaurant right in front. With the ANVEDI in red neon writing. We arrived Ina group of 4 and had a nice table already set outside in the tented seating area. We ordered some starters , the mixed fried antipasto (suppli , fior di zuccha ,crocchete) , fried pulled pork balls , magnum shaped pulled chicken fried with some sweet ketchupon it (interesting but good) , some veggies and a few bruschetta and focaccia with fresh tomatoes. For my main I got a carbonara with their homemade pasta. And to finish We got a nice dessert , small chocolate lava cake , and le zoccolette with Nutella (fried pizza with Nutella and pistacio sauce). Can't forget about the great quality of pizza they have and also bread. We also shared a bottle of montepulciano and ended the night chatting with Simone, the owner , who's very funny smart wnd just s great guy! We had been at this restaurant a year ago so we decided to go back this week because we loved the pizza and the fried starters the first time we tried this restaurant. Unfortunately though this time the pizza wasn't at the level of last year and neither the antipasti or the veggies. It wasn't bad but it wasn't really good. Moreover the service was very slow due to the fact that the restaurant was very full and they also have lots of deliveries, so we ended up waiting about 50 minutes between the starters and the pizzas. We did tell the waiters about the extremely long wait times and they were really sorry about this issue and they were nice to us and also were kind enough to offer some sweets or drinks on the house. Avrei messo 5 stelle se fossero stati attenti a delle piccolezze che però hanno fatto la differenza nel giudizio, mi spiego:Il cibo è mediamente buono, parlo della pizza e dei fritti classici,dolce compreso. Il personale è gentile, simpatico e premuroso verso il cliente. Non posso dire lo stesso dei gestori purtroppo cosa strana in un ristorante, di solito è il contrario. Quelle tre frasi in croce da parte di un gestore sono d'obbligo! Grazie, ha mangiato bene? L'aspettiamo la prossima volta! No, prendono i soldi del conto e arrivederci.Parliamo del cibo. Se siamo in tre e ordino il gran fritto(molto buono ripeto) ma mi vuoi mettere 3 pezzi di ogni fritto? 3 supplì, 3 fiori di zucca etc. No 2. Però potrebbero dire il gran fritto prevede 2 pezzi! Ok perfetto prendevo una porzione in più pagandola a parte senza problemi altrimenti il terzo commensale che fa? Guarda mentre gli altri due mangiano? La pizza capricciosa :nella capricciosa ci vanno anche i funghi che non c'erano poi gli ingredienti sulla pizza vanno sparsi altrimenti una volta che te sei magnato il carciofo o l'uovo il resto diventa una Margherita! Però devo dire che la pizza è buona senza dubbio. I vini:Vini di fascia media che trovi al supermercato, buoni e serviti a dovere. Preso un ribolla e un vermentino di Gallura. Consiglio di aggiungere nella carta i vini casale del giglio, anche perché siamo nel Lazio e non possono mancare secondo me. Conto onesto, nessuna sorpresa negativa!
