Bar Pizzeria MokaLoka — Restaurant in Rome

Me and my fiancé arrived into Rome Friday morning, when it come to wanting a meal at night, we went searching and come across this place which had music and a good crowd, we decided to join in and we got treated really really well, all staff talking to us and even the DJ come up to us, we were made to feel like locals and we had a really good time so the next night we decided to visit Moka Loka again… well it was like being in a completely different place, no DJ on this night (no issue) the service on the other hand was a joke. We waited 20 mins for someone to come take our drink order, even went inside and got told to go sit back down and someone will be over to serve us, another 10 mins went by and no one bothered to serve us and a member off staff even said ‘hello’ to us and then ignoring the fact we was waiting to order, we decided to leave. The prices of this place is fine and also the atmosphere is good. The only thing i hate is the aperitivo which is most of the time very cold especially the pasta they serve. Nextly the people who work inside are very unprofessional who don't know how to treat customers. We were a group of 6 and we were the only ones inside the bar and to force us to leave from there they put the music in the maximum volume. Ho dato 2 stelle solo perché il cappuccino era buono tutto sommato e perché ci sono state poste delle scuse, ma vorrei dire ad una delle ragazze al bancone che nessuno la costringe a lavorare a contatto col pubblico e che se il minuto che ho impiegato a scegliere il tipo di cornetto le ha distrutto l’equilibrio della mattinata non è certo un mio problema. Se per giunta vengo intimata di pagare la differenza tra cornetto e ciambella in malo modo col braccio che indica la cassa come se fossi una bambina da mandare in punizione (ero solo io a dover essere servita) direi che forse lavorare con altri esseri umani non fa per te. Probabilmente poi, non sapendo spiegare perché mi fossi innervosita alle sue colleghe in cassa mentre pagavo, ha detto loro che non volevo pagare la differenza di prezzo (€1,20). Tutto ok? Come se potessi scappare con questo grande bottino, visto che c’eravamo solo io e il mio ragazzo. Che problema c’è se pago per delle cose e poi cambio idea mentre ordino? Nessuno, pago la differenza quando ho finito di ordinare. Come in tutti i posti del mondo. Ci lavoro anch’io al pubblico, mai fatta una scenata del genere, neanche nei giorni peggiori del mio umore.
