If you're looking for a modern restaurant with a menu that looks at tradition but it's not scared to step away from the confort zone, well look no further: this is the place you want to go! It's a couple of minutes walking distance from Baldo degli Ubaldi metro station, it's modern, thriving with customers and excellent staff. Despite being at full capacity there were enough staff members to take care of everyone in a professional yet friendly way. I ordered tagliolini calamari and fiori di zucca. At a first glance I was angry because my sister's plate looked prettier and more colorful but as soon as I tasted the tagliolini I was flabbergasted with an explosion of creamy flavours! Then I had a frittura and once again I was quite happy with my choice, my sister' salmon tartare was a bit low key but hey this isn't a review about her poor choices! One little con is the house wine, too acidic.
Overall I gladly recommend anyone to try this place out. It's glamorous, friendly and the...
Read moreUsed this restaurant on a number of occasions on a recent visit to Rome. This is a really slick operation, but that is not to say it is impersonal. The welcome from the young staff is genuinely warm and, if they have the time, they will happily chat. However, they are kept on their toes, as this is a very popular and busy establishment. Good food, generous portions, reasonable prices. Very varied menu, ranging from pasta and pizzas through burgers to good meat and poultry dishes. Good selection of wines and beers at fair prices, including some from UK producers Tennents and Brewdog. Fine selection of spirits, too. Recommend reserving a table if you intend dining after about 8.30pm. This is a very busy place. However, don't be put off by that fact. The service is good, and orders are filled within a reasonable time. The customer base, which covers all ages from children to crumbling old ruins like me, results in a very...
Read moreSo delicious food and so poor service! From the beginning, how we were seated at the table and how we were served afterwards. Without a smile, a plate with a napkin was thrown on the table like for a dog. We wanted to order more food to try something new. The waitress argued with us, "Are you going to eat 3 pastas?". But what difference does it make to you how much and how we are going to eat? I think you should be happy that customers leave money at your restaurant. My cocktail was forgotten even though they were not busy, I reminded twice about it, but it was brought very late, when I had already finished my dinner. It's a pity that you don't know how to communicate and behave with people, because the food was really incredible. I will not say that I would recommend this restaurant to my friends, as an institution with a...
