MiDù Bar — Restaurant in Rome

Tuesday: 2023 March 7: Morning: As someone just fresh arriving from US, I got a very cheap direct flight to ROMA and landed up here around 10 AM by a rental car, looking for a *FREE parking space. Once I found a free empty spot near a kiosk (in the middle divider with a forever water fountain nearby - called Fontana pubblica Viale Junio!!!), I started to locate the RED METRO station nearby Viale Junio to ride to ROMA Termini & Obelisco (tourist centers of ROMA).

• That is when I located this small bar (MiDu Bar) tucked in between to get a coffee. *

Had my first Cappuccino (in Italy) and one stranger/also-customer offered me half a croissant, asking where I'm from. The owners were very pleasant. All items were priced reasonable and Cappuccino was AWESOME. Moreover I discovered this guy was from south India and was living in Italy for a while (although we only have English as common language). It was a laid back relaxed place, and had I not been in hurry to discover the entire country ... Mar 7- Mar 16 2023, I would have spent half an hour there! Very nice accident and coffee indeed. This is March 30, I traveled all across Italy, only Pisa & Milano is skipped & I have now very sweet and pleasant memories in my possession of the entire country. Like this, I will try to track and put reviews of all places and associated memories ASAP - before they vaporize into thin air...

Se passi a Viale Jonio, devi fare un salto al Bar Midù. Perchè? Perché ad accoglierti troverai Dunia e Michela, che sono giovani, carine e sempre sorridenti, e un caffè con un sorriso cambia in meglio la giornata.A colazione trovi tutto, cornetti biscotti crostatine e ciambelloni.Se invece sei un salutista convinto puoi prendere una spremuta di arancia o melograno.Vuoi stare leggero? Trovi un the fatto da loro buonissimo! A pranzo c’è l’imbarazzo della scelta tramezzini buoni buoni, insalate, primi e secondi di carne e di pesce ottimi. E a fine pomeriggio se vuoi fare due chiacchiere con un amico ti puoi rilassare con l’aperitivo. Se piove e tira vento ci sono i tavoli interni,sempre pulitissimi e sanificati, se invece il sole di Roma ti abbraccia e ti riscalda c’è anche uno spazio esterno tra fiori e gelsomini.La metropolitana è a due passi e al lavoro ci vai felice! Brave ragazze...
