Pasta! — Restaurant in Rome

Great dinner to have especially if you arrived in Rome late in the evening. The server lady was very friendly and passionate in her work. The carbonara with thick bacon was the best I ever had, the spaghetti with tomatoes was standard just like you make at home, the meat balls were well made and the tomato sauce was perfect. The long pizza style dough was freshly cooked and the cheese was great. The food is perfectly salted. Prices are over average but not exaggerated....

Pasta!… la prima cosa che viene in mente ad un cliente che legge il nome del ristorante é “la loro specialità sarà la pasta!” Beh per niente invece. Per Pasta! probabilmente indicano solo “qui mangiate pasta”. É chiaro il motivo per il quale il ristorante risultava essere vuoto. Siamo venuti a mangiare e all’inizio sembrava tutto Ok, antipasti buoni, champagne, e buona musica… finché dopo un ora e mezza arrivano i primi. Dopo la lunga attesa, nonostante fossimo solo due tavoli in tutto il ristorante, arrivano le fettuccine ai funghi porcini: sembrava un piatto gradevole a vederlo da fuori, ma fin dal primo boccone NON SAPEVANO DI NIENTE, completamente sciape, asciutte, nemmeno un goccio di cremosità, tanto che all’inizio pensavo di avere il covid, purtroppo però non era così. Erano tanto spatte da non riuscirle nemmeno ad arrotolarle sulla forchetta prima che si spezzassero, per fortuna non ci ho portato una ragazza ad un appuntamento, perché é stata la prima volta che non mi sono riuscito a finire un piatto di pasta di dimensioni medie. Sembravano le stesse fettuccine che facevo quando avevo 10 anni con l’impasto avanzato delle fettuccine che preparava nonna e poi mettevo a bollire in un padellino per 1 ora e mezza. Questa critica vorrei servisse a migliorare prima di tutto il ristorante perché il resto comunque non é male. Però mi spiace ma io ed il mio intero gruppo non abbiamo...

Cosy place by via Tiburtina, far from the tourist attractions, in a quiet part of the city. Everything was practically perfect. We ordered two pasta plates, which were excellent, albeit medium-sized. We also got a pinsa romana -strongly recommended! The highlight of the night were of course the ladies of the staff: polite, warm, attending and making us feel at home. We are looking forward to visiting again. Keep up...
