Ristorante Bi Trattoria — Restaurant in Rome

We stubbled on this local gem while in Rome waiting for our flights. We ordered the calamari, fried zucchini flowers (which were to die for), Ragu bolognese, and carbonara. The food and service were amazing, and the decorations were homey and lively all at the same time. It reminded me of Nonna's house.

Really enjoyed this restaurant — the food was delicious and prepared with great care. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. La cucina ha il potenziale per permettere a questo ristorante di fare un salto di qualità. A mio avviso ha bisogno di ripensarsi ed investire sulla ristrutturazione delle strutture del locale e sul potenziamento dello staff, sia in termini numerici che di qualità.

Abbiamo fatto cena con menu pizza a 22 euro (fritti, pizza e bevande incluse) ma se non sei un affamato, il prezzo è elevato. Il menù conviene solo per quantità elevate.

Gli arredi e gli ambienti sono troppo vecchi...fatiscenti. il finto vintage non colpisce. In veranda si sentiva puzza di fogna e spifferi dagli infissi

Lo staff è scarno per il pienone che abbiamo trovato: abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora solo per i fritti mentre ci avevano garantito un servizio veloce. Per 20 minuti nella veranda esterna non si è visto un cameriere. Mi sono dovuto alzare per chiedere una birra e la seconda volta per chiedere il conto e pagare.

Siamo capitati in una serata dove c'era una rimpatriata sportiva con tanto di discorso presidenziale, applausi e schiamazzi vari che non a tutti sono graditi.

La zona è Casal Bernocchi e forse la zona e l' attuale clientela non aiutano il cambio di passo di cui dicevamo sopra.
