I cannot recommend Ma Va vegan restaurant in Rome highly enough. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. I arrived after walking a short distance in 44° heat with a crutch due to a recent back injury and was feeling quite unwell. Despite the language barrier, the waiter was very observant and concerned about my well-being while I waited for my son to park. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also really homely and comfortable. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other dishes next time...
