Stopped for a mid afternoon cool down and our gelato did not disappoint. My pistachio based flavors of Sicily gelato delivered on its promise, with hints of Cassata, the best lemons in the world, and and underlying nuttiness. I'm a huge Cassata fan, and this was a great twist on the classic. I'll definitely revisit to try their homemade gelato.

Their mini desserts were the finest I encountered in Rome. The tiramisu was exceptional, and the layered chocolate cake is something I’ll surely be craving once I return home-all for just one euro each.

Bar pasticceria ben fornito, pieno di ogni ben di Dio. Peccato che abbiamo preso una ciambella che, anziché essere soffice, era praticamente secca. Il ragazzo al bancone, a fronte di una mia domanda, mi ha detto che la ciambella era del giorno prima. A mio avviso è stato molto "ottimista", diciamo che ha svagheggiato... Peccato avessi già pagato. Ad ogni modo mettere in vendita dei lieviti che hanno uno o più giorni è semplicemente indecente e lascia molti dubbi sulla possibile presenza di ulteriori paste e dolciumi "vissuti" oltre che sull'attenzione nei confronti del cliente. A mai più.

Il mio bar di riferimento della zona. C'è la qualità, la genuinità, la gentilezza, la cortesia...Io lo identifico come il bar dei 3 scalini....per distinguerlo dagli altri bar della zona che fanno tanta concorrenza. Un consiglio? Curerei di più la location, anche l'occhio vuole il giusto relax...Qualche angolo verde, una piantina sui tavoli.... e una valorizzazione dello spazio esterno. Purtroppo la cura della zona non è delle migliori, da parte di chi dovrebbe provvedere. Siamo o no all'angolo di via di Monteverde? Quindi forza, un po' di coraggio e di determinazione renderà il Romagnani caffè, una piccola oasi dove consumare...
