Best place in Rome.

This place... Even for Italy... Although not Rome, since Rome is...ummm... Good for architecture and history?

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in.

Tuna tartare with some secret sauce it encrusted with, "Octapus Ragu" with a flavor bomb that made this dish impeccable (bread to help take down rest of sauce), a veal saltimbocca (no picture...ate too quick!) That had the perfect blend of seasoning and rate veal, encased in "European bacon", and all finished with a "Sfiramisu", tiramisu encased in chocolate Shell, with espresso poured over the top.

She had nothing but goodness too... But was more focused on my plate, so will let her share if she wants.

Met Daniel, the chef, server and owner... And while it seemed he only had help in the back, service was still incredible.

With a 2014 Parusso Barolo to pair with it all... I can't. Great end to Rome after a long day at...

Absoultely incredible experience. We went for new year's for a ten (+2!!) course tasting menu and it was fantastic. Very modern but still with respect for Roman cuisine. Fresh ingredients cooked perfectly. Particularly recommendable is the crunchy poached egg with parmesan cream and black truffle.

The staff were warm, professional, and very friendly, helping us with our bad Italian. After the meal, every table was given a complementary bottle of champagne to pop at midnight, and the chefs, owners and staff came to offer everyone a happy new year personally.

The price was more than fair, and it would be hard to find better value for money for such cuisine in central Rome.

100/100. We will definitely return next time we...

Mi aspettavo di piú* (Prima di recensire questo posto, mi sono informato su recensioni, menú e prezzi)

Come prima volta è stata abbastanza deludente . Pizza(a parer mio) surgelata, con 6 fette di salame piccante messe all'ultimo secondo sulla pizza e quindi non cotte, 2kg di mozzarella raggrumata e impasto non cotto troppo bene..12€.... 5 piccoli ravioli con 3 fette di melanzane rinsecchite(ma che dovrebbero essere fritte) e con 2 kg di pecorino grattugiato...15€... Una frittura mista(chiamata GRAN fritto) che era tutto tranne che grande! 2 gamberi contati, 4 anelli di calamari fritti in croce e 5 pezzetti di zucchine(2 spicchi minuscoli di carciofi inclusi) fritte...18€... Non vorrei far paragoni ma in altri posti con 18€ ci mangi in 2 e sei pure pieno. È davvero un peccato perchè i gamberi e i calamari erano buoni. Diciamo che quantitá, qualitá e prezzo non vanno di paripasso. Quando un datore di un ristorante ha la possibilitá di risparmiare su ciò che servi ai clienti, stai pur certo che lo fará. Per fortuna esiste The fork e abbiamo deciso di utilizzare il buono da 50€ altrimenti ammetto che non avrei speso i miei soldi volentieri. Forse conviene venire con il bonus del 50%, almeno paghi la giusta somma per la quantitá che ti servono. Insomma sono uscito con la pancia piena di mozzarella e di delusione. Io mangio tuttoa davvero tutto ed è la prima volta che recensisco negativamente un posto in cui vado a mangiare. Il servizio abbastanza neutrale, la ragazza di sala pare stia lí per far presenza, senza neanche approcciarsi al cliente magari per cercare di arricchire il conto. Neanche ci prova a chiederti se vuoi un caffè o un dessert. Ora io non sono nessuno per dire come gestire un ristorante o per dire come deve comportarsi un/una cameriere/ra però un minimo di entusiasmo anche nell'accoglienza! Faccio questo mestiere personalmente e, delle volte, bisogna fare buon viso a cattivo gioco anche quando si lavora da tutto il giorno e si è stanchi. Per ritornare ai prezzi.. Sinceramente mi aspetto numeri cosí grandi da un Trastevere o dal centro di Roma ma stiamo a Monteverde, dove passa 1 turista su 300 persone. Per concludere, non...
