⸻ Last night I was with my father and a friend from Rome (who recommended this place) for dinner. The service was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. He suggested we try the dish of the day: rigatoni with pajata, a traditional Roman specialty. The rigatoni with pajata (pasta with a particular cut of meat) was excellent, and afterwards we had mussels. To drink, we had a wine from Rome, and to finish, an excellent rum! I highly recommend this place if you’re in Ostia!

It’s a real “Trattoria”! I have visited twice and had a such amazing time in this trattoria. It is owned by a family. The father and son managed the service part. And the mum is the chef. High Quality food with reasonable price. I would strongly recommend you try this restaurant. (The only one thing you have to mention is every staff in this Trattoria could only speak Italian)

È un po’ defilato dalla strada principale e in una posizione ottimale per trovare parcheggio. Conosciuto per un pranzo domenicale su suggerimento di amici. Ambiente molto curato e luminoso, gestori gentili e disponibili con il tocco di simpatia che non guasta. Il segnale positivo arriva dal fatto che praticamente tutti i clienti sono abituali e conoscono bene menù e personale, il che vuol dire che sono persone che tornano volentieri e spesso. Menù vario ma non esagerato, che offre spunti molto interessanti (paccheri salmone e zafferano da provare) e tutto cucinato al punto giusto. Conto del tutto ragionevole e una gran voglia di approfondire la conoscenza molto presto.

Great little seafood restaurant slightly out of the center Ostia but within walking distance and an easy drive with parking. The seafood we had including the various antipasti and spaghetti vongole were cooked to perfection and classic. Wine list v limited but the one white was fine.
