Tuarua — Restaurant in Rome

My husband and I went in this afternoon and a young man waited on us and he was great. We had a sandwich and a roasted bell pepper pizza with a coffee. The food was really good and we had such a great experience, we decided we'd go back on our way home from the catacombs. When we returned, there was a woman working that when we asked the price of a beer, she was acting like she didn't understand. I just had a feeling she wasn't being honest, especially because their other prices were very reasonable and 6 euros is more than we've paid anywhere in Italy for a beer, including Rome. When I went up to pay, she charged me more for the pizza than I paid earlier that day. I told them that I knew that wasn't correct because I had one earlier that day. They fixed the price, but beware of this dishonest woman. If I saw her, I would just go elsewhere. It's too bad because it gives businesses like...

Perfect for a lunch with children. Staff are patient, efficient, kind and professional ; the food is prepared fresh and to order [we got their good, clean beef burgers, grilled chicken, home fries (described as 'baked potatoes' on the menu on the door), salad, grilled vegetables, a panino] ; and there's a patio seating outside upstairs with plenty of space. Further, there are pastries, sandwiches and coffee... and gelato. Try the zabaione flavour. A clean, welcoming caffè - restaurant right between the Parco della Caffarella and the Catacombe...

Posto meraviglioso peccato che i proprietari non abbiano saputo valorizzare la location con un servizio all’altezza. Evento battesimo di domenica a pranzo, un caldo infernale, bevande a temperatura ambiente, spumante senza cestello del ghiaccio, buffet allestito senza posate dove per servirsi bisognava usare le mani, confettata e dolci tutti sciolti. I bambini erano completamente zuppi sotto il sole con il rischio di sentirsi male per non parlare dei neonati che abbiamo dovuto spogliare e bagnare con acqua perché erano bollenti. Mancava letteralmente l’aria ed era da svenimento😭 Sarebbe stata una permanenza gradevole se avessero avuto qualche accorgimento in più mettendo a disposizione dei condizionatori (anche portatili!) per rinfrescare l’aria e dando ad ogni tavolo un cestello con del ghiaccio per le bevande. Strano che chi si occupa di organizzare questo tipo di eventi non abbia avuto l’accuratezza di provvedere prima ad attrezzarsi in modo adeguato considerate le alte temperature già da aprile/maggio.
