i have eaten in other restaurant in Rome but this one must be given a MEDAL becuase it's one of the #RealTOP Restaurant in Rome, they serve real authentic italian dish, cook by a real italian Chef name Paula, you'll taste the passion in her dish, they also have a very friendly Sommelier Andrea that can give you very good advices of what's best they can offer, actually all of their dish is to be taste cause i assure you it is very very excellent! if i'm the mayor i'll put a monument for this restaurant for just being a Real Authentic Italian Restaurant! you will find a few restaurant in rome that has a real italian chef that serve real good dish and idillio serve's the best above all! this is a must visit Restaurant when your in Rome! with them you'll really have a good taste of what being italian is in term of food! i'll visit you again when i come back in Rome, Thank's again for the...

Very pleasant evening with local dishes which are all of a high quality. Price/quality combination is great. Better than most restaurants in the city center of Roma we visited. Owner also has a high knowledge of wine, and recommended a bottle of wine, which would pair with our variaty of dishes. Wir waren zum Abendessen in der Vineria l‘Idillio.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Kellner und vermutlich auch Inhaber begrüßt. Eine Verständigung auf Englisch war absolut unproblematisch. Er ging auch perfekt auf unsere Sonderwünsche (Nudeln als Secondi Piatti?! Scandale!) ein.

Das Interieur ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, die vielen, vielen Weinflaschen heben das „Vineria“ sehr gut hervor, kein Detail wirkt fehl am Platz.

Die Speisekarte ist zwar übersichtlich, enthält aber viele spannende Gerichte, die zumindest ich bisher auch in Italien so nicht kennengelernt habe.

Die beiden Weine, die wir uns ausgesucht haben, waren jeweil sehr gut im Geschmack - wir sind aber auch keine echten Kenner.

Als Vorspeise haben wir uns einen Crepe mit Taleggio und Radicchio geteilt. Das war mal eine komplett neue Erfahrung! Das Gericht hätte jedoch etwas mehr Raffinesse vertragen, z.B. etwas Säure am Salat, und Salz fehlte ebenfalls.

Als Hauptgericht hatte meine Freundin eine Lasagne Bolognese, die geschmacklich absolut top, leider aber nur lauwarm war. Ich hatte das Roastbeef, was sich als eine Art Carpaccio herausstellte - auch hier wäre eine bessere Würzung drin gewesen, Salz, weißer Pfeffer und Zitrone.

Als Abschluss haben wir uns für zwei Semifreddos entschieden, Orange und Kastanie. Etwas seltsam war bei beiden, dass sie außen warm, innen aber noch hart gefroren waren. Geschmacklich waren beide interessant und speziell.

Alle Gerichte waren schön und geschmackvoll angerichtet.
