Ristorante Il Porticciolo — Restaurant in Rosignano Marittimo

Had booked a table there for 5 guests and a baby... show up and they sat us down then told us we had to leave because we didn’t say anything about a baby. I made the reservation under “Dave” and he told me that I wasn’t Dave and he knew the party that was “Dave”. you could a tell they where making up some crappy excuse they didn’t want to accommodate for a baby. Plenty of other great restaurants in the area !

First off the number i called was yours, i showed you on my phone and you denied it... second who names there restaurant with the same name as the one at the top of the street??? you should be the on questioning dignity if you didn't want a baby there. You should of just said that and not sit us down first then tell...

Wonderful restaurant for seafood, gorgeous view and overall atmosphere. We enjoyed the daily specials that were not on the menu - ricotta ravioli with orange flavored pasta and a seafood sauce, spaghetti with clams and bottarga, and a very local specialty of ragu stuffed mussels. The regular menu items looked wonderful too, but the specials were so enticing and unique that we chose those. Classic local Livorno style food, and very friendly and professional staff. Wonderful location on the seaside pathway, a short walk to the perfect rocky beach for watching the sunset and also to the main seaside pine forest park and train station...

Worst restaurant experience in our trip, which is especially disappointing because every other restaurant here was so wonderful. The waitress served us refrigerated red wine and tried to claim it was not refrigerated. We waited nearly an hour for dinner and then she served it to the wrong table. They pointed this out and she brought it back to the service stand and left it for 10 minutes before then serving it to us. She refused to accept that we were unhappy with the service and when we indicated we wanted to leave she got very handsy and aggressive. We paid our bill as we were unsure of our customer...
