Absolutely fantastic experience, the chef is Apulian and you can really taste it in the dishes. There are three set menus to choose from, 4-6 dishes each, €100 - €150 per person + drinks. Including one fully vegetarian menu. A la carte choice possible too. Very beautifully designed. Good wine selection. Staff is friendly and attentive. We visited Alpenroyal Gourmet Restaurant this week and picked the 6 course menu. We were recommended a wonderful choice of wine, which went perfect with the quite intense food selection. Ordering a 6 course menu, doesn’t mean you will get 6 plates, in fact we counted 10 dishes with all the chef compliments and pre-dessert course. The service is nice and friendly, the setup is high-end but unfortunately the food is not as we expected. The assortment of the dishes, the tastes were average, nothing special. We had the 6 course meniu and a special mention about lobster, the “gem” of the evening who was chewy. We had a very good selection of bread and butter and this was what saved the dinner.
