Food and the atmosphere were great, we had bruschette and salumi and we enjoyed every bit thoroughly. The noise level was down (positive!) and even there was background music playing, it was kept in the background and wasn't too loud at all. Had the service been more attentive and seamless, the restaurant would have deserved five stars. The night wasn't very busy and the waiter and waitress could have had plenty of time to anticipate what their guests needed and be there for them, however they seemed to mind their own businesses and we needed to hail them to serve as did the other guests time and again. The waiters had very little knowledge of the food or wine they served and it felt that they didn't understand what their guests needed. For example, a couple in the next table ran out of wine and they asked to have some more. Instead of asking would they want to have another bottle of the same or if they wished to see the wine menu, the waitress got stuck with the fact that the first bottle was empty and didn't know what to do next. Read moreWe had the cheese fondue. Sure it was delish and fulfilling. The ambience was nice also. However, when we were served the fondue we did not get the 'marinated vegetables' as was listed in the menu. When we asked the waiter he looked at us very confused and confirmed it was only the potatoes etc. and said there are no 'marinated vegetables' served with fondue. We did however get the fresh fruit, the boiled potatoes and the bread with the spices to taste. Whilst it was enough to fill us (2 adults) completely, we felt a bit disappointed as we would have preferred it with less bread and with the vegetables as per the menu. This is the only reason why I have given the 3 star rating for food. If the restaurant did not intend to serve the vegetables it should really be taken off the menu or least mentioned before or when the reservation is made. We also received a little surprise at the end which was really nice. The service was fantastic also and the waiter helped with choosing a...
Read moreA casual night spent in a winter holiday. We found this restaurant through google map. The overall rating was good, and we tried to find a different mom and pop diner. We arrived at 18.30, was little early. It ia better to go there after 19.00 A relax ambiance was held with a bistrot and hotels customers finishing their spa sessions. We were hungry as always and orders the food throughly. We always share the food, we ordered ribeye, sea food taglioni, mixed salad, sea food mix and focacia. We asked waiter for wine selection, südtirol wines were the main target. Lagrein is the typical grape of this region. The wine, you would check from pictures, was great. Soft, rich and easy wine. It was 2020 , but tasted an aged one. For desert Hugo was my best, but pannacota was not bad either. The complementary sorbet was awesome. Somebody should...
