I had booked this restaurant every night of my stay in Selva this year. From the greeting at the door the older waitress was incredibly rude. I understand that English is her second language but a smile goes a long way. We came for three nights and on that last night we were shooed away and pushed aside when I asked a question about our friends joining us. My friends had booked a table too and we wanted to sit close by and had asked for this on the phone. Well you think I was asking for something crazy. She was the rudest woman ever! She kept pushing me by the arm and shaking her head and saying no, no, no. I felt sorry for the other staff members who were embarassed as they watched this older woman who I am assuming owns or manages the place treat me and my children so badly. My kids couldn't figure out what we had done wrong. Needless to say we didn't go back and I suggest she goes for hospitality training. It isn't hard to treat your guests with respect. I would not recommend this place for this very reason and the food was only mediocre. La Bula down the town has much nicer staff. A family run place with incredible food and a smiling team of servers. We moved our business there after the shoddy treatment by the Sal...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sal Feur and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance, making it the perfect place for a memorable meal. In fact , we had 4 meals there !
The food at Sal Feur was absolutely delicious. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. From the appetizers to the main course, each plate was a culinary delight.
What impressed me the most was the hospitable and caring staff. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any request. The staff's genuine care for their customers truly added to the overall dining experience.
In addition to the fantastic food and service, Sal Feur also offers a delightful surprise on the ground floor. They sell homemade chocolates that are simply divine. These chocolates are a must-try for any chocolate lover. The quality and taste are exceptional, and they make for a perfect treat to take home or enjoy on the spot.
Overall, I highly recommend this...
Read moreWe were seated and given menus fairly promptly but the rest of the service was nothing out of the ordinary. Food was so-so, the pizza was good, pappardelle was a little too Al dente for my liking, only had a shaving of speck on top and used canned mushrooms. The red was lovely but the Prosecco tasted cheap. The salad was tasty but the bread dry. We were given a bottle of tap water but no glasses and no plates for eating the bread on or sharing a slice of pizza. Given so, we didn’t touch our water and kindly requested it removed from the bill (seeing as we were unable to drink it!) and the waitress was very unhappy, essentially yelling at us in Italian despite speaking to us in English beforehand and knowing that we didn’t speak Italian. It felt like she was trying to intimidate and confuse us into letting the matter go, but we felt like this was a simple and reasonable request and did eventually get the €4 removed from the bill. Overall I would say the place has the ability to be very lovely due to its atmosphere and design, but it is far too expensive for the quality and service was underwhelming so we...
