Ate pizza and salmon. Pizza toppings were excellent, but the pizza was poorly cooked, no crispy crust, salmon was well cooked without too many garnishes. Pizza were not served at the same time, first the pizza came some time later the salmon. My wife then ordered a dessert, Semifreddo, but it was frozen hard, they took it back and tried to defrost it. For a dessert with such a price, you would expect something different than a scoop of pistachio ice cream with unroasted almonds and a few raspberries. But things really went wrong when paying. I received a bill for 71 euros and the first attempt to pay failed due to connection problems. Then i gave the receipt to the waiter for another attempt. He then types in the amount and threw away the reciept, While entering my pincode I did not check the amount on device (my fault) Which was stupid in retrospect because my bank statement later (when i was already home) showed that an amount of 77 euros had been debited. I always tip, but in this case I didn't think it was appropriate. I don't know if the disappointment of not tipping led to this or if it was a mistake by the waiter. But I didn't have a good feeling about my visit to La Bula.

This place, hands down, has the best arrabatia pasta I've had in my life, and I've had a lot (including in Rome, Florence, and homemade)! We liked it so much we actually came back to have it a second time. The pizza is also perfect. The crust doesn't get soggy but still has some droop, the sauce is great, and the cheese is great too. Couldn't ask for anything better in a pizza. We only tried one of their desserts - the apple strudel - and loved it. We had a few during our stay at the Dolomites and they were all good. I can't say this one was exceptionally better, but having it warm and with a crispy flake/crust was amazing. Lastly, if you're a vegetarian struggling to find variety in South Tyrol (which is very meats heavy), you should enjoy the menu here!

Went here during January 2024 - was by far the best food we found around Selva. We didn't go to any absurdly expensive places but for ~40 euros we got 2 glasses of wine, a pizza, a pasta, and a mixed salad. Absolutely loved this place and when the belly was full we took the rest of the pizza for hill snacks the next day. They will need a reservation past about 7:30 but if you are OK staying up at the bar or eating around 6-630 just pop in they will do their best to set you up. First time we went we ate at the bar, the second time we went they said we could be seated if we ate and finished up within 2 hours - more than reasonable and super delicious. If you don't try their Carbonara you will miss out on the best pork I've ever tasted in a Carbonara.

Terrible experience, avoid this restaurant!

Poor hospitality: We reserved a table for 12 people, but upon arrival, they split us into two separate tables despite the option of combining them. This forced us to split into two groups, girls and boys.

Waitstaff attitude: a) While sorting out seating arrangements, a waiter rudely bumped into me twice, deliberately pushing me towards the table. b) Despite ordering a bottle of white wine, we were served two glasses of red wine in mismatched large goblets. When we requested proper white wine glasses, the waiter dismissed us, insisting we use what was provided. "C'mon girls you can drink the wine from this glass too, what's the problem". The boys at the table next to us received white wine glasses for their red wine bottle afterwards ;). c) Another waiter tried to serve me my main course, an AOP pasta, before I had even received my starter. It seemed like they were trying to offload extra food onto me and even got annoyed when I refused it and ask for my main. Nobody else from the table was served any started, they were just trying to get rid of some extra AOP pasta most probably. d) Without any prior warning, we were abruptly asked to vacate our table to accommodate another reservation, leaving us feeling rushed and disrespected. Me and a friend stepped out of the restaurant for a a few minutes. When we were passing the "boys" table were just receiving their digestive drink. 2 minutes later my friend who was inside was calling me that we need to vacate the table because the other reservation has come. Without announcing us or anything, they made us stand up from the tables and pay at the bar. By the time I came back (3 min total) my glass of wine was already cleared up and all of my friends were standing.

Food quality: The panna cotta starter was lackluster, consisting of ricotta cheese with edible flowers and a biscuit. The portion size was small and I sill left more than half of the portion in my plate, and the AOP pasta was nothing extraordinary.

This review is overdue since our visit a month ago, but such treatment is unacceptable. I felt as though we were inconveniencing them rather than being...

Disgraceful service and food. Waited over 40 minutes to receive any food and my husband received his first with mine no where to be seen. When he had nearly finished, I enquired as to where my own was where I was told it would be coming there had been a mistake by the chef. This was never communicated to us or even apologised for. After another 15 minutes a bowl of chips arrived (our side order) and 5 minutes after this my salmon had finally arrived. As I started to eat, I quickly discovered it was raw and stone cold through the middle. I sent it straight back and asked for the bill as I wasn’t waiting any longer here. I also asked to speak to a manager. The waiter that was serving us came back to our table smiling and said “this is so funny” …. Are you joking me?! What kind of professional waiter do you call yourself?! To think it is anyways funny that your customer was left waiting all that time and was served raw food is beyond comprehension. Apparently the manager had ‘gone to another restaurant’ and couldn’t be spoken to and the waiter at the till conveniently didn’t speak any English yet he could say all of that to us! A disgrace of a place and I would stay well away. I have never in my life come across a service as...
