Gelateria Copa De Dora — Restaurant in San Vito Chietino

Not really good experience. My friend went to the cashier (a girl with glasses) to try to make the order for the ice cream. Unfortunately the order has to be change couple of time because she wasn't ready with how many small cup and big cup our group wants to have. When my friend went away for some minutes to make sure, the cashier was grumbling desperately, exaggerating ...'i can't take it anymore'- in Italian of course. As soon as my friend ready with the right counting she get back to the cashier and make the right one. Shortly, she ordered 2 big cups for adults and 7 small cups- 6 children 1 adult. After paying we start to choose which flavour we want to have along with the size of the cup. A skinny old man was serving us, 1 big cup and 4 small cups was served. It was my turn to choose, I asked for the big cup ( I asked twice) but the man insisted harshly that the big cup was done because we've ordered only one, and now is the turn to serve the small cups for children. I asked my friend for this and she said she ordered 2 big cup. She get the cashier and asked for the ticket to check for the order. She gave us a squeezed ticket that it seemed already thrown in garbage bin, we have found it was obviously added written with a pen one additional big cup ice cream so total 2 big cups. When we confirm this to the cashier calmly she said...'oh ok' and we confirmed also to the man. She was there next to the man who serve the ice cream when I asked for big cup and she didn't say a word. Is she or the man are trying to cheat us? Only because we're not Italian? I don't know if I'll be back there for the time being, ice cream was...

The first thing that struck me was their insane variety of flavors – I mean, it's like a gelato wonderland in there! They have all the classics, like chocolate and vanilla (which are obviously top-notch), but they also have some mind-blowing unique ones that you just HAVE to try. 🍫🍦 I've never had gelato this smooth and creamy before. It's like they've mastered the art of turning simple ingredients into this velvety dream. Each bite just melts in your mouth, and you can't help but go back for more and more! 🤤

You can see and taste the love in every spoonful. It's obvious that they take pride in their gelato, and it definitely shows. 🥰 The staff was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

They've set the bar so high that now, I'll forever be comparing all other gelatos to this...

This is for me the best gelateria on the Adriatic coast! Very fresh, authentic, and plenty of flavours to choose from! Not only the quality, but also the quantity is bigger than what you get in other places for the same price; so very good value for money. Each time that I am in this area, regardless the season, I need to visit Dora's gelateria, then I feel fully accomplished.

In addition, morning breakfasts offer plenty of choices in terms of types of pastries: cornetto con crema, cornetto con nutella, maritozzo con nutella e panna, bomba con crema, etc. different sizes available as well and good coffee for a reasonable price.
