Please put a sign out to let tourists know that non-locals are NOT welcome. That was a very disappointing waste of time..
I should have read the reviews before coming here. My partner and I came and sat down right by the door, waited very politely to be acknowledged, and eventually discovered that several locals were greeted and served before we were even looked at.
We sat for at least 30 minutes at the outdoor table right by the door. I thought it was really neat to see the locals laughing and enjoying what looked like incredible pizza. We were stoked. The waitress passed us multiple times and spoke directly over us. At one point, she sat a large tray of drinks down in front of us and said "not for you." At the bar my partner got told to sit down and a colleague would come and take our order. We waited a further 15 minutes before I tried going up at which point I was signalled to sit down by a different server. We watched the waitresses go to different tables and serve them whilst we were ignored.
It wasn’t particularly busy tonight, don’t know what we did wrong (tried to speak both Italian and English) but if your first language isn’t Italian I’d avoid, as we had no clue what...
