El jazira ristorante — Restaurant in San Vito Lo Capo

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Jazira, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant itself is quite lovely, with a charming atmosphere that sets a nice tone for the meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially the owner, who made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh arugula and tomatoes. However, I did find the quality of the sliced beef to be good but not exceptional. Additionally, the portion sizes were a bit on the small side, especially considering the prices, which were relatively high for the overall offering. My only other critique would be that the restaurant was quite cold, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. We had a pleasant surprise on welcome in the form of a delicious appetizer but the experience turned on the main course. Plate of vegetables (around 5 slices of paprika and mushroom) was burned and the paprika felt like rotten inside, mushroom inedible, and it cost 5 euro. Steak was ok for the price, but swordfish rolls again burned. Chicken nuggets and bottle of water were charged twice even though we only had one of each, unfortunately found this out when we came home. Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati di recente in questo ristorante e purtroppo abbiamo avuto un’esperienza deludente. Il mio ragazzo ha ordinato delle linguine all’astice e la cameriera al momento dell’ordine gli ha detto che avrebbe potuto mangiare l’altra parte dell’astice a parte, senza specificare che ci fossero dei costi aggiuntivi. Quando ci hanno consegnato il conto siamo rimasti sorpresi del prezzo, l’astice a parte l’abbiamo pagata 35 esattamente come il piatto di pasta all’astice(a questo punto ordinavamo un altro piatto di pasta), quindi ci è stato addebitato un secondo che in teoria non avevamo nemmeno chiesto, ma che pensavamo che anziché metterla tutta nel piatto di pasta, parte di essa era semplicemente servita a parte. Abbiamo ritenuto questo comportamento poco rispettoso, da parte di chi, facendo questo mestiere dovrebbe essere chiaro nella comunicazione col cliente, informandolo o meno dei costi aggiuntivi prima di servirli, soprattutto quando il piatto non è presente sul menù ed è proposto dal cameriere in questione. Ci siamo sentiti trattati in modo scorretto, spero che la gestione prenda in considerazione questa recensione e che la cameriera comunichi in modo chiaro e trasparente in futuro con i clienti.
