‼️Tourist trap. ‼️We got lured inside by good rating on google (4.6). All restaurants around were packed and this one didn’t have anybody inside which was very weird to is, but the pictures on google reviews looked stunning so we said why not and decided to order. Nobody spoke any english (no surprise here). Small beer was 5 euro (what a rip-off… 700% roi). No food had any taste. The Calamari wss burned to perfection and tasted on unclean grill. There was no salt, no peper, no lemon, nothing. I understand that good seafood 🦞 will defend itself by freshness, but darn it was rubbery as a tire 🛞. Not that I ever ate a tire, but I could imagine that is exactly how a tire would taste like. 3 euro for coperto is the biggest one you can find in town too. On top of that when I got my check I received 1 euro less, didn’t bother to argue with the waiter as he spoke no english anyway and it was his way of taking another money off me. Negligenza, Scortesia e Arroganza al Limite.

La mia esperienza in questo ristorante è stata terribile e pericolosa. Ho ordinato una zuppa di cozze specificando chiaramente che, essendo celiaca, doveva essere senza glutine. L'errore è avvenuto quando mi è stato servito del pane fritto per accompagnare la zuppa. L'ho mangiato, pensando fosse idoneo, ma solo in un secondo momento il titolare mi ha informato che non potevo mangiarlo, mettendo a rischio la mia salute. L'episodio, già di per sé molto grave, è stato gestito in modo assolutamente inaccettabile, con il personale che ha cercato in ogni modo di scaricare la colpa su di noi: "Io gliel’ho detto che i crostini non poteva mangiarli, ma lei era al telefono." "Eh, ma lei doveva chiedere prima di mangiarli." "Noi offriamo i pasti senza glutine ma non siamo certificati." Il culmine è stato quando ci è stato detto che il pane fritto era stato portato per gli altri commensali, ma ero l'unica ad aver ordinato le cozze e i miei amici avevano solo dei primi. L'idea che avrebbero potuto inzuppare il pane fritto nella mia zuppa, contaminandola, è inaccettabile e dimostra una totale mancanza di professionalità e attenzione. La situazione è degenerata a causa dell'arroganza del titolare, che invece di scusarsi, ha iniziato a sbraitare contro di noi. Non potendo reggere un dialogo così irrispettoso e maleducato, abbiamo deciso di andarcene, con la certezza di non tornare mai più in questo locale.

L’umiltà ripaga sempre, ma in questo caso è venuta a mancare completamente.

Spero vivamente che questa recensione serva da monito per altre persone con intolleranze alimentari.

RISPOSTA AL TITOLARE: Gentile titolare, La sua risposta è la prova di quanto ho scritto nella mia recensione. L'atteggiamento aggressivo e la maleducazione che ha usato qui sono esattamente ciò che ABBIAMO riscontrato di persona. Le cozze? Il problema non era il numero, ma il fatto che fossero chiuse (sigillate per intenderci). Svelare il segreto di madre natura e delle 10 dita non cambia il fatto che un ristorante dovrebbe servire cibo commestibile, non dare ai clienti una lezione di biologia.

L'intolleranza? La sua cucina non sarà certificata, ma la professionalità dovrebbe esserlo. Il problema non è accettare o meno i celiaci, ma gestirli con attenzione e rispetto. Non ci si aspetta la certificazione, ma almeno che il personale non si senta offeso per una richiesta legittima. La sua rabbia dimostra quanto sia fragile il suo approccio al cliente. Invece di riconoscere un errore, preferisce attaccare, insultare ("soggetto", "fracassato i maroni") e accusare. Detto ciò, i piatti che abbiamo mangiato erano buoni, infatti ho dato 4/5 stelle sul cibo, ma è un peccato che tutto questo venga rovinato da un approccio così sgradevole nei confronti dei clienti. Service was a nightmare and food is really expensive for what you're served, we asked if the Oysters are from the island and were told yes.... There are NO oysters in Sicily. Also we ordered a tuna tartare as an appetizer that 40 mins after still hadn't arrived, while people from other tables that had placed the order before us received theirs. We asked if it was frozen to which he said no to us, but what other explanation is there for appetizers not being brought at the same time and taking SO long. We told the guy to cancel it as we did not want to eat something frozen and he grudgingly accepted to. Imagine our surprise when less than 2 mins after we cancelled the tartare our main dishes arrived!!! How can you lie to your customers so shamelessly?

The only reason there is a second start is because of one lovely lady that took care of us in spite of the other rude and...
