Food products are good, but I think I was treated a bit awkwardly when I asked for some change (parking can only be paid with coins, no foreign card is accepted!) in return for cash.
The worker could have offered to sell me something small like a bread roll and exchange the money or could have simply be ready with an extra amount of coins ready (I think paying a small ‘charge’ for this service would be completely acceptable, as it saves a lot of time for the tourists).
Anyways, the reaction of the person working there was almost as if I said something disgraceful.
I hope this note will help people working at the shop to seize the opportunity instead of being angry because tourists are asking for...
I bought a bottle of water (2€) and I only had 20€ bill. The salesgirl (the girl who was overweight) asked me in a rather unpleasant tone asked me if I had coins to which I replied no.
At that moment she stayed on the cash register looking at me with the worst face someone have ever looked at me in my life. With the same unpleasant tone she said something to her colleage, then she looked at me again and took my money with contempt. At that moment, I asked her what it was going on and I show her my pocket to see that I was not lying to her. Without looking at my face she said to her colleague: "give her a plastic bag", with contempt one more time.
It seems to me a lack of respect and treatment. Besides when she gave me the change, she threw it on the counter as if it were garbage.
A bad experience which has caused me not to buy...
