One of the best....

.....restaurants we have eaten in on our five week Italy Road Trip. We stayed nearby (actually just 50m away across the road) in our holiday home for five nights. And we came here for four dinners....we loved it so much.

It is a quite big and very popular restaurant. Not much among international tourists, but popular with locals and Italian Tourists as well. There's a good number of tables inside, but in summer you definitely wanna sit outside. There's lots of space, but on weekends the place gets packed, be sure to make a reservation.

We had lots of great food here. It's mostly Italian food, Pasta and Seafood Dishes and Pizze as well. Ingredients are fresh and the kitchen does some nice innovative twists. Many dishes using Pistachio in some unexpected, but tasty ways.

Here's a list of the dishes we had:

Tomato and Meat Bruschetta - good and fresh Shrimp / Pistachio Risotto - nicely cooked, fresh Shrimp, nice Pistachio twist Seafood Pasta - a classic; al dente and fresh seafood Spaghetti Vongole - another classic; pasta cooked perfectly, super fresh vongole Ravioli with Shrimp and Salmon - nice homemade pasta with tasty fresh salmon Salmon / Mozzarella Plate - huge size; great tasting smoked salmon Pizza 4 Gusti - rich and plenty; could easily fill up two people Cozze - freshly steamed mussels; good stuff Seafood Pasta (Fricelli), nice pasta again; very filling! Linguini w/ tomatoes, pistachio and swordfish; another great combination of flavors

You see, a lot of great food! And lucky for us, so close to our "home" for that time. Service was always very friendly, attentive and also helpful. A glass of Prosecco comes with every dinner....complementary! Also a nice Ice bucket with the wine. Great staff, great food, great menu!

It was really one of our highlights on this Italian vacation. We had a dog with, but she had to stay home, no dogs allowed, but we understand that. No minus points for this.

Prices are fair, you might expect a bigger bill. We always paid between 45 - 60 Euros. For 1-2 starters, two mains and a whole bottle of wine. Highly...

Amazing restaurant located in a small village near Palermo. The position is wonderful, from the terrace we have a panoramic view of Capo Zafferano and the picturesque walk to the lighthouse. The restaurant is very romantic and it is suitable for couples, but at the same time because of the large interior area for other events with more people. It has an exterior area full open, a covered exterior area and a nice interior restaurant. Even if it is elegant and modern it keeps the Sicilian specifique. The food was really good. We were undecided so the waiter helped us proposing different plates. At the end we had a fish plate for two. Before preparing the fish they showed it to us uncooked to approve the size. Before the meal we were offered a glass of prosecco and bread with olive oil. The service was fast and everyone was professional and nice and the same price as all the other places on the island. Our dinner at this place was one of the best food experience in Sicily. For a tourist coming form outside Italy the fact that the waiter spoke English was a definitely plus. If we are going to revisit Sicily we are going the come back.We strongly...

I don’t even know why I’m bothering to review this place—it’s always full, and for good reason. It’s just awesome. As someone who reviews a lot of restaurants, it’s rare for me to write something this glowing with absolutely no complaints. Everything here is simply perfect.

The pastas are to die for, the pizzas are world-class, and the team is truly fantastic. They speak English and Italian, which is a huge plus if you don’t speak the local language. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling, and their passion for food shows in every bite.

We had their pasta, and it was absolutely fresh—spot on. The sea urchin sauce with clams and shrimps was perfection. As for the wine, their selection is a sure bet. You can confidently follow their recommendations, and you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve also tried their pizza, which is freshly baked right in front of you—a truly traditional Italian pizza experience. The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This place deserves all the praise it gets. Thank you for such an exceptional...

While honeymooning in Sicily, one of the locals in Sant’Elia recommended Can Caus to my wife and I. We immediately fell in love with this delightful Sicilian restaurant. The food was truly amazing and affordable, the atmosphere was perfect, and the staff were absolutely incredible. They were professional, charming, and very patient with our poor Italian. They made us feel like instant family. My wife even asked to get a picture with our favorite waiter Nino. We recommend anyone in the area visit Can Caus for an amazing dining experience.
