Pizza e non solo — Restaurant in Santa Marinella

We are so happy we found this place! While staying in Santa Severa on a Sunday night, we were searching for a restaurant for dinner that was open and were thrilled to find Pizza e Non Solo. This charming spot is run by a wonderful mother-and-son duo who greeted us with kindness and warmth.

We ordered a margherita pizza, a white pizza with prosciutto and basil (which was absolutely delicious!), and a pizza with sausage, onions, and mushrooms for takeaway. As we waited, we enjoyed some drinks, and the son generously brought us a complimentary appetizer plate with a variety of their slices and bread. Searching for something to eat after the beach. Ordered lasagne was frosty at the bottom (heated up in microwave), after asking for heat more to get warm food it was not frosty but still cold at the bottom but really hot at the top. Cost of lasagne: 6.5€

Ordered slices of pizza was acceptable, nothing more. Cost of 1 slice: 2.5€

Piccola rosticceria di paese. Le signore gentilissime, aperte anche la domenica fino alle 14.30 passate. Un faro nella notte praticamente!! Eravamo di ritorno dal castello di Santa Severa, dove avevano organizzato un evento gestito non egregiamente. Affamati e distrutti per il caldo, troviamo loro… con il bancone pieno di ogni sorta di leccornia!! Pizza bianca da farcire al momento, pizze alla pala farcite in vari gusti, lasagne, pollo al forno, polpette col sugo, crocche di patate e arancini… non vi dico la gioia alle 15 del pomeriggio!! Ovviamente tutto buono e non lo dico per simpatia. Lasagna carciofi e asparagi ottima, focaccia farcita con mortadella e cicoria… non troppo oleosa, croccante al punto giusto, e la mortadella bella profumata 🥹🩷 All’interno ci sono anche dei piccoli tavolini dove poter poggiarsi per mangiare. Dio benedica queste signore simpaticissime! Se dovessi tornare, sono decisamente un punto di riferimento.
