We visited the beach near the castle at the end of september, the water was warm and clear and the beach was clean except for a lot of sea weed at some parts of the seafront. As it was the end of season the beach wasnt crowded at all and we could enjoy all the space we wanted. It was a great place for sme swimming and resting at the beach with a romantic view of the castle. There was a big parking lot nearby for 0,50€ per hour. Good...

A beach with a beautiful view of the castle. Watch your feet because the sand becomes very fine pebbles at this part of the beach. Also, it does get very crowded on weekends and is full of people having a good time. If you don’t mind the crowd this is the area for you. I prefer less people and more quiet so I went a bit further down to the paid beach...

Nice water, poor beach. The beach at the castle is really a mass! The water is nice and clear, but the beach is a dump. Empty glass bottles, mountains of plastic and cigarettes everywhere.
