Da Nardino — Restaurant in Santu Diadòru/San Teodoro

Leider sehr enttäuschender Besuch in diesem italienischen Restaurant.

Wir sind extra angereist, haben einen schönen Tisch bekommen. Doch was uns sofort aufgefallen ist: Die ersten fünf Positionen auf der Weinkarte, die eigentlich um 20 Euro beginnen sollten, waren gar nicht vorhanden. Stattdessen begann der Weinpreis erst ab 40 Euro. Das war für uns eine unerwartete Überraschung.

Wir bestellten Risotto, das leider einfach nur widerlich war. Statt normaler Zutaten gab es hauptsächlich leere Muschelschalen, dazu einfachen Reis, der offenbar nur in die Sauce geworfen wurde. Das Gericht war geschmacklich und optisch eine Enttäuschung.

Als Entschädigung wurde uns dann ein Fischgericht angeboten – das ich auch fotografiert habe. Der Fisch war kaum sichtbar, da er von einer riesigen Portion Spaghetti bedeckt war. Der Fischknochen (Rücken) war komplett verdeckt, die Fischköpfe mit Petersilie bedeckt, und oben lagen nur ein paar Fischstücke, um überhaupt zu zeigen, dass Fisch auf dem Teller war.

Für dieses Fischgericht wurden 60 Euro berechnet!

Diese Erfahrung hat unseren Abend komplett verdorben. So einen schlechten Service und eine solche Qualität hätten wir von einem italienischen Restaurant dieser Kategorie nicht erwartet.

Es tut mir leid, aber ich kann dieses Restaurant unter diesen Umständen leider...

This place was recommended by many people. I went there with my wife to try the Fregula. We were greeted by one of the senior waiters. We asked for a table inside so that we wouldn't be blinded by the sun. To which the waiter responded 'you should go to Alaska for your next vacation'. Rude, but we let it slide thinking maybe he was trying to be funny.

For the rest of the evening we had a different waiter, who was still cocky but friendlier than the first one. The food was very average compared to everywhere else we tried. I was creeped out by the very toxic masculine environment. We left the place not so happy.

We went there a second time because none of the other places in town offered lobster pasta. We thought we would give it another chance. The 'rude' waiter is taking our order and treats us with arrogance, disrespect, talking over us, making his own suggestions of what we should eat, not looking at our faces, and standing uncomfortably close to my wife.

He then brings a live lobster on a plate without being asked, it jumps out, startling us. It was clear that he was doing it intentionally to make us uncomfortable. We got up and left. Ruined the evening.

We found an amazing lobster place in the next town...

FABULOUS!!!! Best restaurant in San Teodoro. Visited 3 times in 1 week and is definitely a cut above the rest. Serving a traditional style of cuisine and more. The food here is excellent, packed with flavour, fresh local ingredients and presented with passion and care. This is definitely one of our favourite restaurants now and could easily be a success in the heart of London The wine here is outstanding, the best we had in Sardinia during our stay. Staff here are impeccable. In particular our waiter Tony, who was polite, professional, attentive and bilingual. I'd like to personally thank Tony for his great service and making the evenings here a real special dinning experience. We was even cooked dishes recommended by him which wasn't even on the menu.
