Caffè Costituzionale — Restaurant in Sarzana

I’ve been here a few times this last month. Meeting friends for an afternoon drink and also breakfast coffee and pastry. They always have an excellent selections no doubt from one of the fabulous pasticcerie in Sarzanna €1.50 and a Macchiato €1.50 no complaints about any of that. Being in the central Piazza Matteoti they have a premium location and from my observations they often get very busy and will always have a good steady passing trade so maybe they don’t have to try so hard in terms of the finer details of hospitality. This bar is a must go to. They do ice cream which was best I've had on my 7 day trip. Their cocktails were ridiculously good. We had Pina Colada, PStar Martini, Mojito and Bramble. Maybe the best of each we've had ever!! And they provide loads of snacks with the drinks. We returned later in the evening and we were provided with a platter of snacks, both hot and cold. Regret having a restaurant booking half an hour later... As for waiter - didnt catch her name but dark haired girl that said she she was living in London 2 years previous. Ci sono stata durante il festival del gluten free .. un Ambiante carino curato e accogliente, arredato con stile e gestito con eleganza, musica ottima e un buon gelato che mi é stato somministrato come gluten free..davvero un buon gelato ...tanto che sono tornata due volte Senza farmi troppi problemi visti che il bar era pieno di celiaci e il bar nella piazza del gluten free .. ..e alla seconda mi sono resa conto che i coni posti sulla vetrina sono coni normali ... Mio marito ha chiesto lumi, lamentando questa mancanza e la risposta é stata che i celiaci spesso preferiscono i coni con glutine, che poi non é un gran problema e certo ..dipende dai gradi di celiachia ....perché poi é responsabilita del cliente quello che succede...

Ecco, un cinque stelle rovinato, forse, dall’impreparazione, forse da un consulente haccp deficitario o dalla cattiveria di noi celiaci?...

Non lo so, però ero a Sarzana per organizzare cose per i bimbi gratuitamente e non ho brillato diciamo.. peccato !

Scrivo dall'account di mio marito perché nel mondo del gluten free sono abbastanza nota e non voglio rovinare un bel locale ...mi piacerebbe solo che si migliorasse l'aspetto della sicurezza...
