This restaurant impresses with its sophisticated presentation and high-quality dishes, complemented by attentive service. The prices, while above average, reflect the quality of the meals. However, the location leaves something to be desired. Situated on a busy road leading to the port, the ambiance is disrupted by the constant bustle, and accessing the restaurant requires taking an elevator, which might be inconvenient for some. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience remains positive, making it a good choice for those seeking refined cuisine and are less concerned about the setting.

We went to Sciccia to see the harbour and stumbled across this restaurant and had the best meal of our 2 weeks stay in Sicily. We were here at lunch time during a week in the beginning of September and it was a quiet and clientele `grown-up´. We chose the tasting menu and the food was amazing, based on Sicilian tradition and ingredients. The staff was friendly and professional, and the room was nice and cool on a very hot and humid afternoon. A great experience and would recommend it to anyone who wants to mark an occasion or as a special treat!

Consigliatissimo!

The location of the restaurant is really nice, with a great view over the harbour. If you book, try to get a table with harbour view. Unfortunately we didn't have the pleasure of being seated there and had to sit next to the energy meter, which is not a particularly pretty sight. Nevertheless, the food was really good in La Lampara. We had a fish ravioli with sea urchin and tomato sauce, which was excellent and a pasta with shrimps and a nutty pesto, which was outstanding too. I can highly recommend the grilled vegetables as a side dish, as they are grilled to perfection. Outstanding vino della casa (white) and friendly service. Unfortunately not the quickest though as we had to wait quite long before we could order. Relatively pricy for Sicilian standards (which is reflected in the type of...
