Bar Charlie — Restaurant in Sciacca

My boyfriend and I absolutely fell in love with Bar Charlie during our stay in Sciacca. Our Airbnb was right by so it became a ritual to go here everyday for lunch. You could get everything here, coffee, soft drinks, gelato, pastries, pasta, and a la carte items like pizza slices etc. and everything was SO TASTY. Seriously, we didn't eat a thing we didn't like here and the pasta changes everyday as kind of their lunch special. Prices are also more than fair, you can eat a full meal here with coffee, drink, and food for under 10 euro easily. But what really left an impression on us were the people. Both staff and customers. Everyone was so friendly, kind, welcoming, and helpful. The staff really treated us well and are one of the biggest reasons we fell in love with the place. But the guests were just as kind, and sitting listening to them all chat with each other was really cool and made us feel like we were getting an authentic Sciacca experience. Most staff spoke english to communication wasn't an issue. I highly recommend coming here if you're in Sciacca and especially if you're based in the harbor area.
