Toilets were out of service in the late morning and staff matter-of-factly let us know about it when we went to use the facilities. No apologies offered or alternatives suggested. I’m not sure if it’s the way it works in this area of Italy, but they expected to pay to use their showers. Fantastic place, a jump back in the past. Lots of little corners that look straight out of a postcard. Please respect residents. Il posto gode di uno scenario naturale favoloso. Siamo stati in spiaggia al lido ed a pranzo abbiamo approfittato del comodo ristorante che nella veste diurna si mostra giustamente informale. Ottima la cucina con diverse particolarità e con un applauso alle linguine vongole e pesto di pistacchio. Il pranzo è stato però “macchiato” da uno spiacevole episodio che ha fatto abbassare questa valutazione perché ci sono aspetti nel rapporto con la clientela che sono da migliorare. Abbiamo chiesto e ci è stato confermato che gli spaghetti alle cozze non fossero piccanti, ma lo erano e quindi lo abbiamo fatto presente. Il piatto ci è stato sostituito in un minuto, ma era altrettanto piccante e quindi la persona che ha scelto la pietanza non lo ha mangiato (si è rifatta con un ottimo tartufo!).
