My partner and I dined at this restaurant while on our trip to Scilla. We were seated with a nice view of the water, and our order was taken at a reasonable time. Note: We have only ordered two pizzas. When we were seated, the restaurant started to fill up more. About 15 minutes after we'd sat down, a bunch of locals sat next to us, which were greeted by the owner. Their order was taken, and within 10 minutes, they had their pizzas delivered. We are now 25 minutes in with no sight of the pizza. None of the staff thought to come up to us and say, “Sorry, there’s a delay on your order” or to even acknowledge that we’ve been sitting there for some time with no food. 35 minutes later, still no pizza. I asked the owner, and he said I'd check for you. It took him 5 minutes to come over to tell us it'd be another 5 minutes. We got our pizzas approximately 48 minutes after we ordered. No sorry, no compassion; just, here’s your pizza. Mind you, more locals sat in those 48 minutes that got their food before us. We understand that we are "tourists,” but that does not mean we should be treated differently from other people. We are still paying customers that sit at your restaurant, just like everyone else does. This place made us feel disgusted in the way they treat tourists, and it made me feel disgusted in a race that has the most beautiful country in the world that’s being funded by all the tourism that’s brought in. I think there needs to be a lot of work done on customer service skills and how to...

We had lunch for 3 here. Ordered everything in one go. Firstly returned with the wrong drinks. Drinking glass had lipstick on it and we returned it. Our starters came, decent. Over an hour and half later, still no food. Multiple attempts to bring this to the waiters' attention, but they all ignored us nor brought this to the attention of the kitchen. And we actually speak decent Italian so language barrier was not the issue here. After we must have told all the waiters and gone to the counter to ask for the food, a sort of manager did come to our table, and made no attempt to apologize. Meanwhile all the other tables' food came and went. Pizza was fine but we were no longer hungry by this point. My friend's mussels dish was mediocre. Would have forgiven all this had they apologized. Waiters are all rude, make no attempt to smile or interact. Judging by other comments they seem to hate...

The speed of service is inversely proportional to the quality of the food. My friend ordered a fried dish where the only decent ingredients were the fried fish, the calamari were so tough they were inedible, and the shrimp were left with their intestines still inside. The burgers looked like supermarket burgers, but you know they're not thanks to the incredible halved cherry tomatoes that slip off the bun with every bite. The pizzas are covered in oil. The panuozzo with swordfish is a good choice. I recommend raising the prices slightly at this point, and perhaps, instead of working the magic of turning out all the dishes in three minutes, take extra time to clean the crustaceans and cook the mollusks. Nice location, but it was easy since we...

Had lunch by the sea, while the view and vibe was really nice the service received was disappointing. We order starters and mains, starters came out immediately but the mains took nearly 2 hours to come out, after spending 40 mins asking the waiters about it, the manager finally came and just used an excuse that they were busy when other tables who came in were being served. While I understand busy summer periods, they were not helpful at all and didn’t apologize for the lack of service and made us feel bad for bringing it to their attention. Mussels were also very unimpressive not worth the money.

This didn’t happen today, but on September 15th - I’m only writing now, when emotions have cooled down. Still, the experience was very disappointing. I completely understand the restaurant was full and we were willing to wait for a table. However, the waiter was extremely rude and arrogant, and refused to let my 6-year-old daughter use the toilet until we were seated. That’s basic human decency, especially when it concerns a small child. No matter how good the food might be, such an attitude is UNACCEPTABLE!
