Un’esperienza indimenticabile a Casa Celestino – Sant’Angelo d’Ischia

Abbiamo scelto Casa Celestino per una cena speciale durante il nostro soggiorno a Ischia, attratti sia dalla fama del locale che dalla splendida posizione in cui si trova, nel cuore di Sant’Angelo, una delle zone più affascinanti e pittoresche dell’isola.

La prima cosa che colpisce, appena arrivati, è la vista mozzafiato che accompagna la serata: un panorama che abbraccia il mare e il borgo, reso ancora più suggestivo dalle luci del tramonto. L’atmosfera è estremamente romantica, perfetta per una cena a due o per un’occasione da ricordare.

Il personale si è dimostrato fin da subito attentissimo e cortese, capace di accogliere ogni nostra richiesta con discrezione e professionalità, facendoci sentire completamente a nostro agio. La cura verso il cliente si nota in ogni dettaglio, dall’accoglienza alla gestione dei tempi tra una portata e l’altra.

Passando al cibo, possiamo dire senza esitazioni che si tratta di una cucina di qualità eccellente, incentrata su materie prime freschissime e lavorate con grande rispetto e competenza.

Abbiamo iniziato con due antipasti: una tartare di salmone e una tartare di gambero. Che dire? Semplicemente eccezionali: la freschezza del pesce era evidente, il sapore delicato e intenso al tempo stesso, come se fossero stati appena pescati. Ogni boccone raccontava la qualità della materia prima e la mano esperta di chi li ha preparati.

Come primo piatto abbiamo scelto le linguine allo scoglio, servite con uno scampo intero (già tagliato per facilitare la degustazione) e una generosa quantità di frutti di mare. Il piatto ci ha colpito non solo per il sapore ricco e bilanciato, ma anche per la porzione abbondante che lo rende più che soddisfacente. Un vero tripudio di mare, cucinato alla perfezione.

Visti la generosità e la completezza del primo piatto, abbiamo deciso di saltare il secondo e di concludere la cena con un dolce. Anche quest’ultimo si è rivelato all’altezza delle aspettative: raffinato, goloso e ben presentato.

In sintesi, la nostra esperienza a Casa Celestino è stata fantastica: una combinazione perfetta di location da sogno, cucina di altissimo livello, personale impeccabile e un’atmosfera magica. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca una serata speciale a Ischia, immersi nella bellezza di Sant’Angelo e nei sapori autentici del mare.

A birthday I will never forget. Being from London, I assumed that I simply did not like seafood. As it happens, I have never had true seafood in my life until I came here. What a special restaurant. An absolutely stunning view of the sunset over the oceans and two edges of the island, beautiful decorations in the restaurant and incredibly friendly staff who all spoke perfect english. The food was absoultely stunning and they even did a special birthday message for me. Getting to and from the restaurant is also very easy, with a huge parking lot nearby for about €2 an hour, followed by a beautiful walk along the mountain with shops and cafes around. Absolutely not recommended! I've never experienced such terrible service before—just awful. I ordered a calamari dish, and it took over 45 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, they brought me tuna instead. When I questioned it, they first tried to convince me it was the right dish, then admitted they had changed it without asking because they ran out of calamari. I asked for bread (which hadn't been brought before) since I couldn't wait for them to make a new dish. In the end, they charged nearly 10 euros for the service, claiming it was because they 'gave us bread and napkins.'
