La Bottega del Vino — Restaurant in Soave

Came early October and we were warmly welcomed by the waitress. Over an apérol spritzer and a fresh glass of the local wine (delicious) we decided to eat here as it was getting late. Moving inside to a beautiful restaurant we decided on the roast beef and veggies and the mixed meat. The roast beef was a cold beef salad which was just amazing and the mixed meat was a delicious skewer with pickled vegetables. The presentation was lovely and the food was superb and very filling, enormous portions so make sure you’re hungry. Meal for two, with apéros was just over €40. Our two dogs were fussed over and enjoyed their time at the restaurant as well. We can highly recommend this...

Sconsigliato. Quando un cliente si lamenta perché le verdure sono gelide, le patate con quel tipico sapore farinoso post periodo prolungato in frigo e il pollo precotto a pezzetti AIA del frigorifero del supermercato (lo compro anche io quando sono di fretta, ma non me lo aspetto al ristorante), la risposta del ristoratore (a prescindere dal fatto che concordi o meno con il cliente) deve essere “mi dispiace, posso proporle qualcos’altro?”. Non è avvenuto, al momento di pagare, senza che venisse chiesto uno sconto per il cibo, la signora proprietaria ha iniziato ad inveire su di me dicendo che eravamo un tavolo di bugiardi (ok) che il cibo era buonissimo (ok). Sono seguite ulteriori urla davantil personale attonito (bravi ragazzi gen z, molto più cortesi della signora) ai quali nel frattempo è stato urlato di andare a pulire il bagno che faceva schifo (ok, di nuovo). Signora proprietaria che risponderà a questa review, continui pure con questo atteggiamento se lo ritiene opportuno, ma sappia che non è la prassi nel mondo della ristorazione e soprattutto non è quello che si aspettano dei clienti disposti tranquillamente a pagare il cibo non consumato (perché se continua a pensare che sia una questione di soldi, allora continuiamo a non capirci)

Per concludere: lo chef è uscito dalla cucina dicendo che il cibo era tutto fresco, ma tanto lui era a fine turno, quindi non voleva parlare oltre.

The two of us had to wait 45 min for our food after ordering. After i asked what is happening, they told me that we all arrived at the same time and that it is impossible to serve everyone. No sorry, nothing. During our stay someone else complained about bad wine, and another one for waiting 30+ min for ham plate (how long does it take to do that). So...
